Radikal Kuss joins BARRO Music Label, and they offer us BARRO # 005, a 5-track EP, available in both physical (vinyl) and digital format. The EP is a complete bomb, from WAR, the destructive kicks off the track, to IGNORANCE IS A CRIME, the closing track, with sensual rhythms and suggestive vocals.

Radikal Kuss is an enigmatic Belgian Techno Body Music duo hidden behind an idea: shake minds and bodies with their techno body concept. Poetic lyrics, erotic tension, powerful rhythm, dirty bass, and sharped synths.

With this release in BARRO Music Label, they reaffirm their commitment. Synthesized voices, with a deep message, winding dance, frenetic rhythms, like hypnosis introduced to your body through your ears and shakes it with no mercy or concessions.

Their sound is a perfect match for the Madrid-based label and his 5th release, with previous references of artists such as Esplendor Geométrico, Amato, or Years of Denial, consolidating itself as a benchmark label in EBM, Electro, Techno or Industrial in Spain. Fractions - Control

Fractions eschew biographical identity in their debut release for Berlin’s FLEISCH records. A potent mix of EBM, techno, breakbeat, electro, acid and horror-soundtrack provides only a title, ‘Control’, S&M leaning artwork that seems to reference Dali’s ‘In Voluptas Mors’ and a one-line manifesto: MAKE DEAD DANCE.

True to these words, established formalities are cast aside as the record
begins without ceremony; barrel-reverb percussion strikes, a hard hitting straight snare and vinyl crackle ambience set the tone; once the 4/4 kick hits, the basis of ‘Control’ is established. The first four tracks explore EBM, new-beat and acid within the 120-125bpm spectrum, horror-sci-fi pads weave between razor sharp arpeggiations, distorted 303 squelch emerges from doomsday sirens and in the vocal sample taken from the title track, a single, ominous voice urges the
listener to ‘control your mind’.

The final two tracks explore more broken, stepping rhythms, the
extended middle section of ‘Celestial’ transitions from pads that wouldn’t sound out of place in Aphex Twin’s ambient works into a cold John Carpenter-esque piano loop; the final track ‘Inhale/Exhale’ picks up the tempo but focuses on a slowly building frenzy of percussion and arpeggiation, with a snare drum that gradually gathers intensity as the track progresses, tying the swarming rhythm together and closing the record with the anticipation of a drop that never
manifests.

For a debut EP, Fraction’s ‘Control’ shows a markedly developed voice in tying together genres under a haze of dance-floor gloom.

Black Dahlia (@musicblackdahlia) is a Sydney based electronic music project fusing elements of new beat, EBM & industrial. Along with live and DJ performances in her native Sydney she has also released on labels such as Up North Records (Au), Deep Scan (Au), Insane Industry (Italy), Idlestates (Scotland), and soon to be Motorik Records (Au) as well as this first release on Berlin based X-IMG.

Her upcoming EP “Animasochist” on X-IMG is an explosion of sex, fetishism, and empowerment; samples from vintage sexploitation and pornographic films, interviews about fetishism, and 80s cinema milieu paired with the sounds of New Beat and EBM, which has become Black Dahlia's signature sound. Digital release February 5th with tapes to ship shortly after.
