Alexey arrives in his tiny flat outside St. Petersburg and produces his heavy sound numbers driving by the inspiration of the true reality...

Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor to the Electro community for the last 11 years. Revolt presents his debut release on X-IMG titled “Splintered Dreams” featuring five highly finessed original tracks alongside five equally flawless remixes from some of the finest producers of the dark electronic underground including Autumns, Notausgang, Imperial Black Unit, Incendie & Endless Nothing. The young Warsaw based producer originally hails from Lviv, Ukraine and has been making waves recently within that niche but tightly knit scene, as well as in the wider dark electronics world as a whole. Revolt, real name Andrii, is also a resident of the Lviv based Zabuttya (Oblivion) collective. “Splintered Dreams” stands out as a finely tuned and evocative collection of original tracks only to be followed up by masterful remixes that breathe new life into each of Revolt’s pieces.
