Sunshine was produced in May of 2010 by Benjamin Gordon and Austin Parker. All of the sounds have been hand crafted to deliver a unique sonic experience and keep you rolling with the beat. The drums, performed by Austin Parker, have been digitally overhauled and processed to create an effect that really pumps the bass and lets you hear what it would sound like in a live performance. Into The Depths Vol 1. with Makak

Presenting my full DJ mix recorded live at HiScore in October 2019. Take a journey with me as I lay down downtempo groves and glitch hop cuts. Original mixes of some of my favorite chill out tracks flow through the beginning of the set and then once people started moving I found my way into some glitch hop bass drops. Brought the guitar this time for extra noodle action and got decent tone going direct into the mixer from my fly pedal board. 

I really let go and let myself sink into this set to open the night. I have been playing opening slots for a long time, and I have learned that while you should not "hold back", you should select tracks to engage the audience at the beginning in a way that lets the event ease into itself. Opening with downtempo gives me a chill foundation to build on, providing a solid beat structure and framework for people to start bopping along and feeling the vibe. The fun at that point, is making your way to more energetic tracks. Letting everyone know you have heaters in the wings, while subtly teasing the audience to expect more when the next person takes over.

Hope you like this set recorded at Public Bar Live! This was one of my last performance before the outbreak of COVID 19, and I look back thinking that I didn't even realize how special it was. Take care everyone, and appreciate all the moments you have. Life can still be good even though it is hard, can't wait to see you all on the other side.
