I love '17 Days', it's one of my favourite Prince songs. The 1983 live performance version that's on the album 'Piano & A Microphone 1983' is so utterly beautiful. It's just Prince and a piano, no band. I'd say it's possibly better than the studio version. I wanted to create a version I could play in my DJ sets, as his vocal is just so perfect.

I know there's been a couple of other bootleg remixes over the years but I've always felt they've lacked the groove that a Prince song deserves.

Glenn has over 25 years of DJing experience that has seen him play many clubs and festivals, including UK festivals Southport Weekender, Liverpool Disco Festival and recently M01 Club Berlin. He has been a vinyl collector since the mid-nineties and his passion for finding and playing superb music never stops.

As part of Dublins Groovement Soul collective, he was involved in running successful club nights in Dublin from  2003 , bringing Dj’s Kev Beadle, Phil Asher, Lay Far, Recloose, Bob Jones, Mad Matts, Thatmanmonkz and many more to Ireland.

In 2012 Glenn began his journey into music production which has seen him work with U.K. House music legend Ashley Beedle (Africanz On Marz) on four releases.
Glenn’s Body & Soul Ep, Namida Ep and Special Ep all on (F*CLR Records ) gained support from Dj’s like Laurant Garnier, DJ Moxie, Joey Negro, Dj Cosmo, Dj Nature and many more with Francois K playing Namida (Africanz on Marz remix) on his World Wide FM show.

To date, Glenn has released music on Ele Records, F*CLR Music, Deeper Groove Recordings, YORE Records , Wolf Music, Ascension On Wax, Local Talk and Midnight Riot. 
His recent release on Ascension On Wax has House heads turning worldwide 
This EP includes a superb remix from Mark Hand and has been receiving props from dj’s Rainer Trudy , Jimpster, Dj Sneak , The Mighty Zaf, Nick Holder , Fred P , Franck Roger, DJ - Jus Ed , Lay Far , Giles Smith , Honey Dijon and many more. 

Recent work includes a track for prestigious label Local Talk Records in their 13 years later compilation, remixes for Dj Craig Smith, Dj Jauche and Dj Gratts on Brighton’s acclaimed Wolf Music.

Ant of Generic People is often & best described as a multi-media junkie.
An established visual artist, graphic designer, disc-jockey, VJ & music producer based in the creative hotbed that is Cork City in the south of Ireland.

He built his reputation as part of the GENERIC PEOPLE collective who have notched up a well-deserved standing for tearing-up clubs and festivals with their cutting edge Audio/Visual DJ sets and full live band shows. 
Known for sticking two fingers up to musical boundaries & rocking a multitude of high energy, floor shaking, mind bending ideas, cross-genres & styles during their Live shows & hybrid DJ sets. 

In 2020 he made his debut as a solo artist with a string of Top 10 tracks alongside the steady release of the “Backroom Edits & Remix” series that feature the cuts that were made exclusively for his Disk Jockey sets.

His sound is fresh, original and highly influenced by his first love of Disco & raw Electronica and styled by his sublime live DJ sets as much as they are by his studio sessions and personal record collection.
His music belongs equal parts on the dancefloor and equal parts on your headphones.
