I love '17 Days', it's one of my favourite Prince songs. The 1983 live performance version that's on the album 'Piano & A Microphone 1983' is so utterly beautiful. It's just Prince and a piano, no band. I'd say it's possibly better than the studio version. I wanted to create a version I could play in my DJ sets, as his vocal is just so perfect.

I know there's been a couple of other bootleg remixes over the years but I've always felt they've lacked the groove that a Prince song deserves. 

So here's my shot at remixing Prince, Enjoy! LLR x

For this month’s mix series we have longtime friend of the NAD! family and icon of the local club scene, Angi. A figure of Irish clubbing folklore, Angi made a rare outing behind the decks for us last June. He created a very special vibe in the room that night taking us on a disco journey so electric everyone just stormed the stage to dance!

His reputation as a purveyor of deep & dirty dancefloor sounds is something of Cork legend. From the heady days of Mor Disco, Telefunken and the Southern Soul & Disco festivals, Angi has held court in some of the Europe's finest clubs, events and festivals, along with a long running stint on Cork’s infamous Radio Friendly. Get this mix into your ears to kick the weekend off right!

Ant of Generic People is often & best described as a multi-media junkie.
An established visual artist, graphic designer, disc-jockey, VJ & music producer based in the creative hotbed that is Cork City in the south of Ireland.

He built his reputation as part of the GENERIC PEOPLE collective who have notched up a well-deserved standing for tearing-up clubs and festivals with their cutting edge Audio/Visual DJ sets and full live band shows. 
Known for sticking two fingers up to musical boundaries & rocking a multitude of high energy, floor shaking, mind bending ideas, cross-genres & styles during their Live shows & hybrid DJ sets. 

In 2020 he made his debut as a solo artist with a string of Top 10 tracks alongside the steady release of the “Backroom Edits & Remix” series that feature the cuts that were made exclusively for his Disk Jockey sets.

His sound is fresh, original and highly influenced by his first love of Disco & raw Electronica and styled by his sublime live DJ sets as much as they are by his studio sessions and personal record collection.
His music belongs equal parts on the dancefloor and equal parts on your headphones.
