Heute wird uns ein besonders herziges Gericht kredenzt - tief unter den Wurzeln des Yggdrasils haben wir 3 seltene Kartoffeln ausgegraben!
Pay Kusten und Ex-Mono haben sich seit 2021 auf eine gemeinsame Wanderschaft begeben, unterwegs einen alten Bekannten Death Metal Freund getroffen. Seitdem begeben sich die drei Mecklenburger Bauernjungs auf eine musikalische Reise. Im Gepäck: Organic House Sounds, die auf Live Gesang, Live Synthi und Percussion treffen. The 64th vurt podcast features a three-hour live DJ set from Prague-based DJ fleika, recorded at 夜行性 : nocturnal event held at vurt. on April 13 2024. 

fleika grew up during the heyday of Prague’s rave culture, coming of age as a DJ in booths built for a single night only. The Czech techno renaissance formed him, then the newly-born club culture embraced him as one of its main protagonists. 
Industrial ruins, modernist landmarks; fleika’s trip through the blooming nightlife imbued his craft with intuition and technical precision. His sets are a humble display of his ability to hijack the mind of a listener. He likes his dancefloor quiet. No cheers, no chants, just a stomping crowd, locked in their own heads. 
The Ankali resident digs anything that kicks, melts or makes one’s mind trip, but mainly thrives on diving into the vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic techno – as deep as it gets.

chukimaandal은 2018년 데뷔 후 서울의 언더그라운드 테크노 클럽 vurt, volnost에서 레지던트 디제이로 활동했다. 그녀의 선곡들은 테크노를 베이스로 트랙들로 댄서블하게 플로우를 연출한다. 세심하게 쌓아지는 전개과정은 청중들이 춤에 몰입하기 충분하다.

Since her debut in 2018, chukimaandal has been a resident DJ at Seoul's underground techno clubs vurt and Volnost. Her selections are techno-based tracks with a danceable flow. The careful buildup keeps the audience immersed in the dance floor.

Wir feiern 1 Jahr Mikromal und  freuen uns über dieses Geburtstagsständchen in Extralänge. Nachdem Beka & Quirion bei unserer letzten Veranstaltung mit einem astreinen Set die Menge zum Zappeln gebracht haben, war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, dass wir ihren Sound hier veröffentlichen. Ein dynamisches Klangerlebnis mit ordentlich Groove und genau der richtigen Geschwindigkeit. After Beka & Quirion had the crowd buzzing with a pristine set at our last event, it was only a matter of time before we released their sound here. BOOM, was für ein Auftakt in ein zweites Jahr MIKROMAL KIRA aus Moldawien mit aktueller Wahlheimat London katapultiert uns die reinste Bassmaschine in den Orbit. 
Ein lebendiges Soundkonstrukt aus unterschiedlichsten Minimalstilen, allen voran das rollende und satte Rominimalkommando, dass von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend kombiniert ist. Es wird keine Chance verpasst die wabernden, drückenden Bässe und zerfließenden Harmonien mit einer gesalzenen Clap zu ergänzen, was die ganzen anderthalb Stunden eine durchgehende Spannung erstellt.

BOOM, what a kickoff to the second year of MIKROMAL!
KIRA from Moldova, now based in London, launches us into orbit with the purest bass machine. A vibrant sound construct blending diverse minimal styles, led by rolling and rich Romanian minimal beats, seamlessly combined from start to finish. Not a single opportunity is missed to enhance the pulsating, driving basslines and flowing harmonies with a sharp clap, creating an uninterrupted tension throughout the entire one and a half hours.

Wir starten das Jahr mit Frühjahrsgrüßen aus Nanjing, China. 77Mushrooms nimmt uns mit auf einen akustischen Trip. Minimalistische Störgeräusche und ein paar Click-Clacks vermischen sich mit funky Beats und einem anhaltenden Groove. Selber als Produzent tätig, merkt man, dass hier ein echter Musikliebhaber am Werk ist -  perfekt abgemischt und einer Trackauswahl, die dem Set einen roten Faden verleiht. vielen Dank für diesen Neujahrsauftakt vom anderen Ende der (MIKROMAL-)Welt.

Ness is the alias of Andrea Deplano, a pioneering force in the world of deep and hypnotic techno, with a career spanning over a decade. Raised in Sardinia, with a background in sound engineering and a passion for obsessive rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes, he has honed his craft to masterful levels. His performances and productions are a journey through the depths of techno, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and immersive textures. Over the years, he has performed at some of the world's most renowned clubs and festivals. He has also collaborated with several respected labels in the industry, showcasing his ability to seamlessly incorporate contemporary sounds in his productions.
