After a 2018 debut for PHW Elements, Sebastian Sellares has made increasingly sizeable waves with his smooth and unique musical style. Already seeing his music signed to an array of high-profile imprints including onedotsixtwo, UV and Or Two Strangers, Proton Music's 'Zen State / Jinsei' was a further notable highlight in October 2020 including remixes from Matias Chilano and Bedrock's Nick Muir.

The title-track opener is a gloriously atmospheric offering that builds gently over a rhythmic foundation of rolling top-line groove and pounding beat. Filtered pads soon enter the fray followed by atmospheric birdsong effects and rippling arpeggiated synth line that resonate with the 'Dunes at Dawn' title. Rising to a spine-tingling zenith at the mid-point alongside deep, captivating bassline, the second half continues the rich melodic collage creating a sumptuous start to the EP.

Continuing the powerful rhythmic basis of the opener, 'The Stars Above' scintillates with its chugging rhythmic vibe and syncopated bassline pattern. Evolving through subtle percussive urgency, dreamlike pads float across the mid-range beside steam-powered white noise waves, before intricately programmed synth plucks complete the foundations. Before long, undulating arpeggios glitter in delayed patterns as counterpoint phrasing adds emotion and guile to create a contemplative offering.

'Nocturne' completes the musical triptych, revelling in a subtle melodic hypnotism that blends acid-tinged loops with flowing analogue motifs. Panning the stereo spectrum with plucked phrases, a magnificent combination of counterpoint melodies rise and fall across a nine-minute magnum opus that results in another string to Sellares' increasingly powerful bow.

Three new tracks from Sebastian Sellares illustrate a sparkling display of sonic brilliance through the Dunes at Dawn.

| From the Middle East to Central America and Russia, a trio of artists blend their talents. Out of the darkness and into the light, Golan Zocher, Gux Jimenez and Mango build a stratified sonic masterpiece from “Only a Shadow”. Subtle organic layers amble through a forest of percussive saplings that sit beneath a towering beat and subterranean groove. Emerging in the dappled moonlit shadows, evocative motifs create an eerie atmosphere before a bassline force springs from the undergrowth and into the open, prowling beneath luscious melody.

Harnessing familiar energies from the darkness, Dowden hypnotises with a new poise and grace. “Only a Shadow” forms in the twilight as white noise crashes in pulsating waves. A mesmerising bassline hits the Toronto streets where it forges a path through pinpricks of melodic light and a seething, rolling rhythmic groove. A pioneering sonic architecture is forged from exquisite St Petersburg and Sao Paulo landscapes. Bassline and synth lines fire off each other in playful interaction and melodic beauty swirls in coruscating patterns of delay and intrigue. “Only a Shadow” is transformed into an iridescent array of sonic colour and uplifting brio by K Loveski & Gorkiz. |

Transensations presents 'Transenses Remixed', a selection of 5 top tracks previously released on our annual compilation TRANSENSES, remixed by the great artists : ANDRE MORET, EMPHI, TONACO, SIIKER, PEDRÄDA and a bonus track from GORKIZ. Starting with "Derut" by Luciano Scheffer, released on the first volume , ANDRE MORET was invited to create a new interpretation of the track, adding crunchy rhythms over a full, rolling groove and dynamic percussive arrangements, as bonus a "Dub" version is also included on the compilation. The second track is a label managers Gorkiz and Pedräda collab released on the second volume , Antitension, remixed by the Brazilian rising talent TONACO, who created a dancefloor powerful version of the track. Next is EMPHI, returning to the label with a remix for Sensations by Raffa, adding his sound signature to the track, showing that EMPHI is a rising talent who continues to impress. The label manager PEDRÄDA, remixed The Vibe by Clivton, previously released on Miami Edition, adding a groove beat to the track, keeping the melody of the original version. Our homeboy Siiker remixed the beautiful Becoming by Francisco Castro, adding his organic and grooved beats to the track. Closing the EP, the unreleased AM Intro version of Strutter by Gorkiz , a trippy new version of the track. This musical collection encapsulates Transensations sound, incorporating some excellent new versions of tracks that blur the labels melodic boundaries, showing a sample of the gems that the label will reveal alongside the 2022 year.

The progressive house legend Rick Pier O'Neil @rickpieroneil returns to Univack, this time accompanied by the also well-know artist Paul Hamilton @paulhamiltonofficial , to make 'Heven's Gate', a Progressive House track, full of melodic, percussive and cinematic  elements, which make an elegant, dark, and epic atmosphere.

The release is completed with the remix by Andrea Cassino @andrea-cassino . This Italian (Argentina based) producer has known choose the right elements froms the original mix, to make a different versión, with more atmospherical and melodic elements, a bit sweeter, more emotive, but also perfect for the hottest moments of your sets.

Cid Inc's Replug Records ushers in the summer season by welcoming Kamilo Sanclemente and David Barragan to the label for their debut EP. The former, long regarded as one of Colombia's premiere progressive house talents has found a home on Balance Music, Beat Boutique and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, while earning continued support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. The latter, also hailing from Colombia and perhaps better known to progressive music fans as Dabeat, has adopted his given name for this distinguished project. Much like Kamilo, David has showcased his music on a wide assortment of the underground's premiere imprints, most notably Beatfreak Recordings, Hope Recordings and Proton Music. As frequent studio partners in the past, Kamilo and David now debut on Replug with 'Time Writer'. 

Drawing on a variety of fresh designs and sleek rhythmic concepts the EP begins with its title and showcase piece 'Time Writer'. On a backbone of warm beats comes smooth contoured bass and a lively percussive cadence. Subtle yet stirring, an atmospheric glow encases the framework, as gentle arps and effervescent effects converge in a perfect sonic marriage. The narrative shifts as the breakdown commences with a buzzing lead line set atop a redolent backdrop. Trance inducing and hugely poignant, its euphoric nature sets the course towards a musically enlightened finale. 

The companion piece 'Relive' continues the trance inspired themes of its predecessor.  From its full, wonky groove comes spacey effects and hypnotic arps. Ghostly vocals and placid atmospheres build an emotive resonance across the first movement, perfectly segueing into an expansive centrepiece. A realm within the story, the break melts down to a stunning display of reflective melodies, free flowing in nature and elevating the mood before playing out over a colourful final act.

Having recorded more than thirty productions since the inception of their partnership, the creative synergy between Kamilo and David continues to grow. Their Replug debut sees a further evolution in their collaborative journey, with two creations that once again find them at the forefront of the progressive movement.
