And now for something a bit different...I've made an ambient and textural mix in ode to the memory of the depths of winter. While where I live now it rarely gets cold, I have spent many years of my life hunkered down while the world stays grey and wet. This mix is in homage of those times.This collage of sounds includes tracks by Circle, NSI, Brigitte Fontaine, Andy Stott, Alva Noto and more.

Genevieve D is one third of Los Angeles underground crew VSSL (http://tiny.cc/5tantw), and is formerly one half of DJ duo Linger&Quiet and helmed the NIGHTCLUBBING, DAYSHIFT and LIMITED EDITION parties from 2008-2011.

Her mixes have appeared on the likes of Beats In Space, Ecstasy, The Moroders and Allez-Allez. She has been playing records for people to listen to, under many names and through many incarnations, since 2004.
