I wrote this track with a dear friend of mine, Emily. She gave me the Frenchy piano riff and the rest flowed. 
This will ring true for anyone who has a bad angel, daemon, voice inside their head, telling them they're not good enough.

Première communion de la Vierge ("The Virgin's first communion") from Messiaen's collection of Catholic devotion: Vingt Regards sur l'enfant Jesus. 

This was a very challenging piece to perform and the concentration required was extreme. I loved every minute of performing this! 

Messiaen - Sarah Lawson Recital

Sarah Dearlove is a singer songwriter pianist living in London. Sarah has been writing songs and performing in London since 2009. Her first ever performance of her songs was at Proud Stables during Christmas time. There were no animals, just supportive and intrigued friends. Not new to performing, Sarah has been giving classical concerts on the piano since she was 8 years old but performing her own songs has been a soul bearing and cathartic experience.
