‘Screwdriver’ was Above & Beyond’s smash instrumental single from 2021. Jono, Tony and Paavo flipped the script on their established club sound with this fan-favourite track from the trio’s sold out Group Therapy 450 festival in London last September.

"It’s fair to say most Above & Beyond recordings exist in different forms before they finally reach the festival stage, as ambient beds, acoustic sessions or early groove sketches. ‘Screwdriver’ always made a statement in its supercharged breakbeat guise, but we could always hear echoes of a classic house idea in there as well. Genix and flowanastasia release ‘Lights, Sound, Camera, Action’, out now on Anjunabeats.

Accomplished DJ and producer Damion 'Damo' Houchen, a.k.a. Genix, has kept momentum high since the release of his debut album, ‘199X’, in 2021. Recent years have seen the Anjunabeats linchpin close Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge Amphitheatre, launch his club-oriented ‘Warehouse55’ EP series and event brand, and sell out two headline Warehouse55 events in London and Los Angeles. 

Genix’s last EP on Anjunabeats, ‘Warehouse55 (Volume 2)’, earned support from Sasha, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Rebūke, Armin van Buuren and more. He followed that up last year with an extensive North American tour, as well as with remixes of Andrew Bayer & Vök’s ‘No Silence’ and OceanLab’s ‘Beautiful Together’. 

Born in Ukraine, raised in Toronto, vocalist flowanastasia has been writing and recording music for over a decade. Growing up studying classical piano and singing in choirs, her vocals have graced releases on established labels like Critical, RAM, Shogun, Liquicity, MODUS, Viper and more.

Genix & flowanastasia kicked off the year with their collaborative debut ‘Dependent On You’, which saw spins from Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 and Ben Malone on Kiss FM. Now, they follow it up with the groove-laden ‘Lights, Sound, Camera, Action’. At a time when the UK club scene is embracing the euphoric energy of 90s rave, their collaboration is perfectly suited for the here and now.

GRAMMY-nominated DJ and production duo Gabriel & Dresden return to Anjunabeats with ‘Kinetic Cinema’.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, aka Gabriel & Dresden, have earned a dedicated and unwavering fanbase over the past two decades of their career. Renowned for their timeless and emotional records, the GRAMMY-nominated production duo underpinned modern trance with hits like ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Beautiful Things’ and ’Tracking Treasure Down.’

Gabriel & Dresden made their Anjunabeats album debut with ‘The Only Road’ in 2017. Title track ‘Only Road’, co-written and performed by Sub Teal, went on to be remixed by Cosmic Gate and was subsequently nominated for a GRAMMY in 2018. 

The duo have three BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes under their belt, won Best American DJ, Best Producers and Best Remixers at the IDMA Awards, scored 21 #1’s on the Billboard Dance Chart, peaked at #20 on DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll and have performed in over 40 countries worldwide.
