Perhaps Space Cat should have had his ship's navigation system updated before heading into the NEBULA system... 😹

Due to a malfunction in his navigation system, Space Cat discovered an unknown planet that seemed to draw its power from a mysterious PHANTOM TOWER.

Shortly after Space Cat landed on the planet, he heard a chanting voice that sounded familiar, appearing to be coming from the PHANTOM TOWER.

Could it be that the infamous PHANTOM CAT of the OPERA (a henchman of the evil DISCO CAT) is hiding in the tower? 😹

Space Cat had to take a closer look... 😼

The Phantom Tower

The first try of making a 2-Step/UK Garage track.

Since I was using nothing but hardware on it, initially I was about to record it DAW-less on a cassette tape like I did for my previous tracks. But after making a tape version eventually changed my mind and recorded and mixed everything in Ableton.

Here I used my Roland MC-101 for a drum section and TE OP-1 for the rest.

The picture showing some high-street traffic somewhere in London, UK (presumably Camden Town, but I don't remember exactly where I took it).

The bachaquera is a pleasant and humorous theme that tells the story of a gossipy and envious neighbor, a common story in Venezuelan neighborhoods such as Petare, envy is common in neighbors and mockery of their body as a joke, this type of joke is not always taken well or funny in Venezuela, but it is commonly known by all as a form of joke. The word bachaquera refers to a type of person that emerged in the Venezuelan crisis of 2015, who, in order to survive in the midst of widespread unemployment and the lack of circulating money, resold any product or service that came across in their country to earn a few extra cents to buy food and subsist.
