After diving to the deepest floor of the sea, after all these years in hibernation, the shroud of forgotten is falling off. There will be signs on the lost horizon. But before you unveil what's happening, it will be all too late... IT is back. 

The surface trembles in silence, unaware of what brews below. The rusted chains of memory begin to snap one by one, echoes of ancient warnings clawing back into being. In every still reflection, in every moment too quiet to be safe, you will feel it — the presence watching from the fold between time and pressure. The tide has started to listen again.

And as the winds forget their direction and the stars blink with doubt, something older than fear itself rises. What once was locked away in myth now seeks a vessel — not to speak, but to become. You will not notice the change at first. A shadow a breath too long. A chill in the wrong room. But soon, the world will remember why it forgot.

Behind us lie the ruins of a half-day's fight; in front of us, finally, the "Dasaera fortress" shines, occupied by hundreds of cannons and fighters, all aiming and locked on our next and final move.
Our allies, powerless too, but at a safe distance.
Our ship, a pond of holes, empty smoking weapon shells and magazines, all out, nothing left but us bleeding out blood and oil and boiling tired anger, ready to end one or the other.
Everything has come to this point, a turning point for the liberation of Saika, another planet from the Autonomous, a split second before us.
We are so close, so, so close to having a first base, right now and forever.

I turn to Broel, who has been silent since the last wave of wiped-out catchers; a critical 5-minute game of waiting is about to come to an end. They will start shooting any second now. We are outnumbered, outgunned, and out of options...
Oh well... This life was never mine to begin with...
—"Broel, we're out of weapons and maneuverability, and this fortress packs a punch that can end us; please tell me there's a reason you're so silent."

Broel turns to Zan: "I understand that this is a modified mining slab."
Zan: "Certainly, the K-drons’ gift with Aamsit attached."
Broel: "Fuel?"
Zan: "76%, 'fullback system.'"
Broel: "A gift from the heavens..."

In what I can describe as something of a telltale that I don't feel like forgetting, the sun is dropping through the top window on Broel, facing me with a grin: "Kira, whose ambush is this?"

That very grin made me smile as I realized what this psycho meant: that this Slabship is not just a slab ship; it has an Aamsit—a damn Imperial fighter engine—and a mining front end thicker than a High Order mothership.

—"See? We got one bullet left."

You have got to be effin’ kidding me.
We are about to become a bullet shooting through the Dasaera fortress.

—"Zan, Kura, fasten your seatbelts. We aren't dying here, and if we are, we might as well liberate Saika in the process.
Zan, initiate Operation 'Saikapath.'"

I return the grin to Broel on a stupid joke because this crew changes everything, including ways of dying.
Zan: "Afterburner in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,"

Our yearly instalment of the Antimatter series is here, and this year is packed with some of the most exciting new talent emerging out of the Soundcloud primordial soup. 

Opening up the release is an ITL frequent-flyer, Archaea with the talents of SamSHB and Temple in support to deliver some of the sharpest engineering on the imprint. 

Following on is a special one - Ton Dune & FLOONK featuring Kaylee is a Dutch & American trans-Atlantic collaboration which we're really excited to get out into the world. A vocal led anthem with a powerful kick in the instrumental - this one does damage. 

Another returning member of the ITL crew is next with Ethera. This Berliner has been making some serious moves in the last year, and so we welcome back with open arms to drop Usually. We love a spooky vocal - keep an eye on this talented writer.  

Insane sets & elite baguettes, LoveTheEND has taken the time out of his busy schedule of being a don to write Iced Out for the series. Ju is a great friend and with tracks like this he's keeping up the momentum of releasing great music time after time. 

The quinquennial track on this year's flagship is Black Sky from producers Osprey & It's Tricky. Osprey has been moving from strength to strength recently and It's Tricky has been on our mind a while - we felt like Black Sky encapsulates the energy that the Antimatter project tries to convey.
