First stepping behind the decks in 2021, Sister Smalls has been steadily building her presence behind the decks, playing a wide range of festivals, bars, and events across the UK. From intimate bars to major festivals, her sets are driven by a deep-rooted passion for music and cultivating a positive energy on the dancefloor.

A multi genre DJ based in Birmingham, with a strong connection to all thing’s bass, particularly drum & bass which runs deep. As the founder of Drum n Bounce—the pioneering D&B aerobics brand launched in 2012—she’s been championing the genre’s ability to uplifting and energise for well over a decade.

Her DJ sets are a genre-blending journey, weaving classic flavours with modern rollers. A natural selector with an ear for both nostalgia and innovation, this summer she’s shared lineups with the likes of High Contrast, Charlie Tee and Mark XTC as well as having the honour of warming up for the legendary DJ Marky.

A proud member of the all-female/non-binary DJ collective Selextorhood and host of Beauty in the Beats on Brum Radio, Sister Smalls brings not just music but movement, energy, and representation wherever she goes

Leia-J is a rising Drum & Bass DJ from Leicester, now based in Manchester.

She’s already left her mark across the UK, playing in Birmingham, Brighton, the East Midlands, and of course, Manchester just to name a few. Recently, Leia-J won the Hospitality x Boundary Festival Competition, showcasing her passion for dark Drum & Bass and Jungle.

Her name has been appearing on heavyweight lineups alongside the likes of Hybrid Minds, Born on Road, Ivy, Sota, High Contrast, Mandidextrous, AMC, and many more.

Beyond the decks, she’s the founder of Mind Over Matter (a charity event raising funds for Mind), supporting mental health awareness. With this she pushes a space that is safe as well as bringing light to the grassroot music scene.

Specialising in moody, dark, tech-driven Drum & Bass with a Jungle twist, Leia-J brings a distinctive sound that’s guaranteed to turn heads. There’s no doubt she’s on track to sky rocket through the scene.
