Kicking off our guest mix series we have one of our Genre Fluid founder: Lauren Goulder. Lauren a 25 year old female UK Bass DJ who has been in the game for three years, playing up and down the country in cities such as London, Birmingham, Leeds, Norwich and more! Her seamless mixing and stellar tune selections have already solidified her as one of the top up and coming artists in the UK Bass scene, and after supporting artists such as Macky Gee, Flava D and Cause and Affect it is easy to see why!! This mix is absolutely not one to be missed.

Jordanna is an absolute rising star in the scene at the moment with electric fast-paced selections that leave dancefloors trembling. Having supported huge names in the scene like Amplify, Logan D and T>I, she has become a household name in DnB, being regularly affiliated with the greats. 

As well as being a Birmingham Pride dance arena veteran, Jordanna has played at clubs up and down the country, and more recently was one of the few talented DJs to be selected as 02:31's new resident DJs. As always, this is not a mix to be slept on.

Strict Face is a DJ and Producer hailing form Adelaide, South Australia, who produces music like somebody who has their shit together, and Dj's like an anxious first-timer white knuckling behind the wheel (his words not ours). This music is fun, bassy, breaky, and BOUND to get you on your feet dancing wherever you are listening.

Strict face has built a great name for himself having toured Australia multiple times and even having completed a tour here across the pond. He has had many notable performances including his ICONIC Boiler Room set back in 2018.

Guest Mix 006 - Strict Face

Kamzuqi is a figurehead in the UK Garage scene at the moment as he is one third of @solitudemcr, arguably one of the most prolific events labels currently doing their thing within the scene. Having only been around a relatively short amount of time, Solitude mix series has become an iconic badge of honor for a DJ, having been host to pretty much all of the leading DJs and producers about.

He has also been in the events scene since he was 17 years old so knows how to put on a rave or two. He has been applying this past experience to push Solitude from being an online platform into a fully fledge event labels having now hosted two events in Manchester, with the third happening on the 1st of May featuring the likes of Soul Mass Transit System and Yosh - Definitely not one to be missed.

Kamzuqi is a label head first, and a DJ second, but that is not to say that he takes DJing any less seriously as this mix here shows. Packed full of bass-heavy two step belters, and unreleased tunes from some of the coldest artists in the game right now, Kamzuqi has shown that he isn't here to mess about.

Guest Mix 007 - Kamzuqi

Lily Huu is the Queen of Bristol's garage scene, being on absolutely every lineup you can lay your eyes on at the moment... and for good reason! Lily Huu has proved herself to be one of the best up and coming selectors, quickly starting to solidify her position amongst the greats. 

If we want to talk about accolades, then Lily Huu has done it all. To note, she has played at Notion's outsider tour in Bristol, supported Dr. Dubplate at the Love Inn, hosted the EC2A takeover on Swu.fm, played at the second Groove London show, and more recently has become one of the new residents on Komrad's radio station. On top of this you can frequently find her shelling in Bristol for brands such as Locomotive, Femmes on Decks, and Brickphone Audio.

Lily has an absolutely CHOCCA block year coming up with lots of cool sets, including her upcoming set at Risen festival this weekend celebrating the incredible women and non-binary artists we have in the scene. Next up on the guest mix schedule, and marking the big one zero, is super talented Producer and DJ - Vyzer. Vyzer has had a wide range of high-profile releases, with most of these being self released and one banger being picked up by the infamous Da Demolition Squadron. They have also had their tunes included in the one and only Conducta's Kiwi Boost mix back in July 2021, having been listened to by over twenty thousand garage heads.

Guest Mix 011 - Lagoon Femshayma

Introspekt is THE name on everybody's lips at the moment, and for good reason! She is an LA-based producer and DJ specializing in all things garage! 

Introspekt has an extensive CV behind her including releasing an EP on Gimme A Break records which was premiered on the iconic DJ Mag, and has remixed a tune for the lovely Eliza Rose which was released on Rosebud Recordings.

Introspekt has played more sets than there are fish in the sea, appearing at gigs and festivals across LA and throughout the states. She appeared on the Keep Hush x Warp Mode Takeover taking the roof off the place with her wobbly basslines and impeccable mixing skills which are shown throughout this mix.

Virtually, Introspekt has been on pretty much every radio station and label you can think of having featured on Swu.fm, Rinse.fm and Solitude, as well as having her own personal residencies on Balamii radio and Threads Radio. 

Introspekt is one of the best to currently do it and we are absolutely honoured to have her this week so listen in and enjoy.

DJ Ammi storms onto Genre Fluid this week providing us with our first 100% VINYL guest mix. Expect to hear half an hour stacked full of 2-step, speed garage, and a whole lot of bass. 

DJ Ammi has quickly been making a name for themselves - especially within the Bristol nightlife scene - where they are known for their high energy, multi-genre sets, all with the cherry on top of being an all vinyl DJ. DJ Ammi has an amazing roster of gigs behind them - including playing for labels such as no_one, Brickphone Audio, Psyched, and Crotch. Additionally - Ammi co-runs a queer night in Bristol called Misscoteque - a safe raving space for women, non-binary and trans folk!! Today marks the last guest mix of 2022, our first year running as a label, and we couldn't be any happier to announce that we have nominee of DJ Mag's breakthrough producer of the year Soul Mass Transit System stepping up to the plate. This is an act that needs no introduction as they have been absolutely turning the scene on its head this year at every turn. 

SMTS have an insane portfolio of releases behind them, having had releases on labels such as Time Is Now, EC2A and Instinct. However, it is not all just about the releases with this artist as the DUBS are just as notable. We know you have all heard the It Wasn't Me tune that everybody is gagging for. There is plenty of unreleased material in this mix for you to sink your teeth into.

SMTS have also remained booked and blessed this year appearing at too many gigs to even account for. We had the absolute pleasure of catching them b2b with A for Alpha at this years Shall Not Fade festival in Bristol, and trust us when you say you are in for a TREAT with this mix.
