Guest Mix 021 -LHMTS

After a small hiatus from our mix series we are glad to announce that we are back with a belting guest mix from Thunderska! 

Thunderska has been DJing since she was about 8 years old - having played regular gigs at the Camden Assembly and the George Tavern, and has even completed an Amsterdam tour. 

We are super lucky to have Thunderska lay it down for us as she is currently focusing on non-DJ music projects such as playing in her band 'Gender Warfare' and playing guitar with Felicita of PC music. Guest Mix 022 - Thunderska

Today marks the last guest mix of 2022, our first year running as a label, and we couldn't be any happier to announce that we have nominee of DJ Mag's breakthrough producer of the year Soul Mass Transit System stepping up to the plate. This is an act that needs no introduction as they have been absolutely turning the scene on its head this year at every turn. 

SMTS have an insane portfolio of releases behind them, having had releases on labels such as Time Is Now, EC2A and Instinct. However, it is not all just about the releases with this artist as the DUBS are just as notable. We know you have all heard the It Wasn't Me tune that everybody is gagging for. There is plenty of unreleased material in this mix for you to sink your teeth into.

SMTS have also remained booked and blessed this year appearing at too many gigs to even account for. We had the absolute pleasure of catching them b2b with A for Alpha at this years Shall Not Fade festival in Bristol, and trust us when you say you are in for a TREAT with this mix.

When he isn't causing havoc with his productions, Lazy Susan is no stranger to being behind the decks, having played at gigs and festivals across the Netherlands, and has shelled down in little old London town for GrooveLDN (which we had the pleasure of attending). 

This upcoming mix features all the feel-good garage that Lazy Susan is best known for, but also includes some high energy speed garage, and even some breakbeats... a very naughty recipe for a brilliant mix.

Their high energy selections of UKG and speed garage have landed them residencies in queer nightlife stapes such as Crotch and No Strings.

Birmingham's Queen of Bass steps up for our next guest mix over here at Genre Fluid delivering a killer selection of bassy groovy classics. Kezz is extremely well known on the Birmingham scene holding down residencies at many establishments such as Mama Roux's and Vocal Vibrations.
