“It's always a pleasure warming up at the Sub Club. This was my 2nd year playing alongside Joris and it did not disappoint. We've got unique and different sounds so to tie them together I tried to add some groove with my melodic style of house. The crowd responded really well which made for a great atmosphere - hope everyone enjoys it as much as they did!”

GenreSluts are a Dynamic DJ duo made up of Nathan Williams (Ministry of Sound Uni trash, Bijoux/Shark Club resident) and Dan Williams (DJ/Producer/The Last call Resident). They have had an immediate and profound effect on the northern club scene since teaming up in 2010; producing blistering remixes for “F.A.Q’s Sherelle “(Sister of chart topping pop sensation Labrinth), BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens band of the week “Vinyl Jacket” and BBC 1Xtra’s Ace ad Vis’s hottest new MC “Miss Stylie!.” Citing influences as diverse as New Order, Sandy Rivera, Laidback Luke, Richie Hawtin, Daft Punk and Tiesto. The two began to hone a style fusing House, Techno and Dubstep with Electro and Drum & Bass… what emerged was a razor sharp sound. The duo have recently performed at Carlisle’s largest nightclub “The Wall,” previous hosts including Calvin Harris, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Riva Starr and Jaguar Skills. In 2010 the self confessed sonic geek of the duo (Dan) hosted a one off special event in the highlands of Cumbria with none other than Multi Platinum selling Godfathers of Rap “The Sugar Hill Gang.” Cumbrian musical history was made… Currently working with one of the UK’s biggest house nights “UBER,” GenreSluts are set to kick 2012 off with a bang. First Step is a monstrous night with UK house Giants Xpress 2 and US jackin house meister Justin Martin… You’ll find GenreSluts destroying dance floors all over the north of England with their unique brand of genre mashing mixing.
