Single from my industrial project cell:burn. Lot's of sci-fi sound design on this one, along with hardware synths (Waldorf Micro Q & Microwave XTk, Nord Lead, Korg MS-20) Vocoders and a ton of beats...

I had a live performance in Santa Fe, New Mexico for their "Currents: Art & Technology Festival". Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, but apparently, the audience didn't notice. For me though, it was not my best performance... in any case, I will hopefully have a video of this performance in a few days.

This started as a quick test of the DSI Mono Evolver Keyboard versus the Moog Sub 37 Tribute Edition... 17 tracks later and I had gone too far. Both of these synths are absolutely beautiful to behold; both in sound and in looks! Also included is the Korg Wavedrum Global Edition and Piano and Strings in Ableton Live 9 Suite. I Heart Vocoders! So I thought I'd try putting the Arturia Microfreak's Vocoder thru the  Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II Sampler Composer. I sampled a few parts of the Vocoder into the K.O. These are tracks that I composed and recorded in 1994 using the Ensoniq TS-10 synthesizer and the Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler, as well as a couple of Guitars, recorded into the Alesis ADAT 8-Track Digital Tape Recorder. Vocals were from my then Girlfriend at the time Claudia.

This is.a quick, rough, first test of Arturia's Pigments 6. I've never used Pigments before but saw that I had a huge discount available due to a crossgrade from V Collection 4. So for this first test, I just threw together some odd and interesting presets to test out.In the last part of the video, I also show my first couple of attempts at my own sound design with Pigments. I'm beginning to work on new material for my next "Science Patrol" album, and what better way to begin by trying out the new Moog Grandmother Semi-Modular Analog Synthesizer! Korg ARP 2600FS // A Simple Sequence

This is a very old (and poor quality) 4-Track cassette demo of a project I had with my girlfriend at the time in 1989. We had some interest from various labels including 4AD and Capitol Records when she up and left me (after 9 years) and took the demo tapes! This was (barely) salvaged from the original cassette master. All songwriting and instruments by me, vocals by an ex.
