As the nights and rains have drawn in here I found myself comforted by the vocals and atmospheric moods of many of these tracks.  I realised that the vibe I was drawing together was a bit like a "Hedkandi Winter Chill" album from back in the day - which made me smile. The first track is just so killer and I tried to find others to match the magic mood it set.

Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

So blessed to be able to play the final set on my birthday this year.    Max the Bionic Buddha handed me over a beautiful dance floor and I kept the tempo high for a while to try to keep the vibes going.    Gradually I brought down the tempo ending up with more spaces to play some tracks I have been excited to hear loud at the beach under the cosmos. The last whynam before the Apocalypse.    This set was from 8pm to 930pm which is one of the peak energy times at the whynam party just after dark.    https://soundcloud.com/lotusimane handed me over a beautiful dancefloor. FULL TRACK LISITING TO FOLLOW - It was March 2020. I was stoked when Sharira asked me to play a set at her birthday boat party.   16 friends cruising the tropical bays in the north west of Koh Phangan.  We were being fed incredible tapas every 15 minutes by the spanish crew.   The love bubble was growing and it was time for my little set.   There was no space for a controller so it's all unmixed but I really enjoyed playing fun tunes to people that I love.   I made myself a comfy seat on the deck and just began to vibe fit.

Festival Universe Birthday Boat Party - Koh Phangan March 2020

I was stoked to be asked to play and Vanessa and Lily's birthday party.  Surrounded by supportive friends in the middle of an actual bamboo forest.  Warmed up by a funk band and dramatized by a massive rainstorm in the middle of the set.  I even remembered to hit record after  a few tracks.   I will add the full track listing in due course.
