Resisted

Bats are much maligned little buggers. They’re fascinating little creatures of the night and pretty important to the ecosystem. I’ve wanted to make a song centered on the Eastern Red Bat for a while now so here it is, started from some sounds of bats chirping and synths trying to mimic sonar. 

Mist Net is the companion track because mist nets are how scientists (and sometimes poachers 🙄) catch bats to study. The song is also meant to be a bit of a pallet cleanser, being the more subdued, melancholy tune to contrast the rowdier A-side. 

Anyways, bats are cool, go listen to the music. 🦇🌫️
