When I first heard the original from Fred, I felt the need to put my own touch on it, in order to express the feelings I was having during the pandemic. The longing to DJ'ing. The longing to dance and to share the love for the music, in a nightclub full of people. I've been playing this edit in my sets over the last year and now that the pandemic looks like it's almost over, I thought it was a good time to finally put it up online.

I was driving in my car, listening to the track "VHS" by Swimming Paul. As the music played, I found myself starting to hum along, and almost instinctively, Fred Again's song "Clara". The melodies seemed to blend perfectly in my head, and I knew right then that I had to create a mashup of these two songs. The result is something special, a blend of sounds that I hope captures the essence of both tracks. I hope you enjoy this remix as much as I enjoyed creating it.
