The anniversary compilation is showcasting the unique experience which was collected through the 20 years long journey of Insomnia Records. DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

SANATHANA (Swaroop Guhathakurta) is an EDM / IDM music producer, specialising in: Psytrance / Dub / Fusion / Ambient / Psybient / DnB / Experimental Electronica and more...He was born in India in the year 1978 and grew up in Muscat, Oman. After which he went to the UK for further education and settled there for a period of 7 years. This is where all the creativity started pouring out. He is currently based in Dubai.
He has been producing IDM / EDM since Yr. 2001. He began releasing and sharing his sound under the name of Sanathana in 2008. (The name is a Sanskrit term which means ‘Eternal’ and the name of one of the sons of Brahma). 
QUOTE: “I picked this name because I believe in the eternal truth about life. What is it? You will have to find out for yourself. I am also very spiritual, one of the main reasons behind this name”
His first project was named Psy Dimension. Some of his early production (From Yr. 2001 –Yr. 2005) as Psy Dimension, can still be found on soundclick.com. He also has a side project as STEREOTROPY that focuses on more popular genres viz. Tech, House, Progressive and other Clubby EDM.
