Tarnished Girl

Recorded in the Early 90's with Ian Dolensek (RIP) on Rhythm Guitar and Phideaux Xavier on Lead Guitar and Mixing. I played  all the other instruments and vocals as i remember, but Ian and Phideaux may be on there as well. We recorded and this one afternoon in the 90's at my home in NYC. It was recorded on a Tascam 1/2" TSR-8 8-track recorder. It is one of my favorite recorded moments.

Pirate Love (Johnny Thunders Cover)

I wrote this song on a whim about a week ago. I wanted to record a song, but I didn’t know what type of song to write. I contacted a friend and I asked, "What type of song should I write?” and he said, “Television”! Well, I recorded this song with that great NYC band in mind, but I can only play so well. It sounds a little more like surf music. Then I asked him, "What subject should the lyrics be about?" and he suggested it being about the exodus of people who are leaving San Francisco and the possibility of the city returning to it's bohemian roots.  I played all the instruments and sang, but 'm hoping to re-record this with some better musicians than myself.
