Here's a new song I wrote and recorded in my little basement studio.  Some good friends helped out... Thomas Sienko on drums and Sean Carter mixed/produced.  My beautiful wife Michelle is singing with me and I played the bass and guitars.  Hope you enjoy it!

About the band:

This is a picture of my friend John and myself (I'm Jason. That's John on the left). We've been friends for quite a while now. We've both been playing music since we were teenagers. 

A couple of years ago, we decided to sit down together and try to write some songs. Songs that we would record and possibly perform together with other musicians. Songs that were coming from our perspectives at this point in our lives. We're aren't teenagers anymore. We aren't in our 20s anymore either. We have lived some life and had some experiences but we don't necessarily feel ancient. And we wanted to write from that place, taking our time to make music that felt good to us. Working on lyrics... sometimes just getting a line or two and then meeting up again in a few days or a week to work some more until we could look at each other without laughing and say "yep, write that down, that's good". Then we got together with friends and recorded some of these songs. We're proud of the way they turned out and now it's time to put them out into the world. 

We needed a name. When our musical minds were being shaped and formed, the world was a little bit different. Communication was different. There wasn't email. There wasn't YouTube. People wrote letters, people listened to the radio. That's not to say that things today are worse or that those years were better. It's just true. Two Southern California natives growing up with all kinds of influences, musical and other wise. So here is the first listen to what we've worked so long and hard at. This is Letters and Radio.
