At first an audio recording test which then quickly expanded to a bar-room type stomp. The words tell another story of a family at risk through too much work and adults not growing up.

Fragrant Star

Straight beat slightly melancholic original recorded as a full band with part double vocal. Slower counterpoint break section before guitar solo.

What am I waiting for

As the title suggests, a slightly mournful song but often hope remains. Electric and acoustic guitars, gentle Hammond three part Backing vocals over a major key chorus - the verses being minor.

In Memoriam

An original song written as a test to see what I could do using a small, recently purchased Controller Keyboard. I put a picture of it in the song video on Youtube.
It has a bouncy bass with softsynths forming the arrangement all played on the 2 octave keyboard. I even managed to play the solo using the bend/modulation wheels which surprised me as I'm not very fast-fingered as a keyboard player!

The Voice in the Air

As close as I could get to writing a song in Blues style. I used it to record as a two guitar band with two different solo sounds:  I think Left - LP Studio & Right - Eggle New York.

Sixteen Tears

Recent rocky song about aspects of relationships. Lots of piano/synth and all the guitar is a Melody Maker Special while all the vocals are me.

Keep The Peace

Someone who writes songs, sings, makes all the music and records them. I prefer to play as a band member but for the time being I'm doing everything with some technological help.
