LS Asekoff Reads His Poems at the Cadmium Text Reading Series

On the 16th of January 1966, in Millbrae, California, George Huth creates an audioletter for his son Don Huth, using the voice talents of his grandchildren Geoffrey, Erick, and Kathleen, and of his daughter-in-law Maureen Huth. This letter was taped on Erick's fourth and Kathleen's second birthday. Geoff's tonguetiedness is evident in the recording. Over the course of June 26th and 27th, 1974, Maureen Tanner Huth and her six children record an audioletter from La Paz, Bolivia, to her mother M. Lillian Tanner (known as La or Lollie) in Millbrae, California. The children speaking are Geoff (age 14), Rick (12), Kathy (10), Nini (8), Jackie (7), and Johnny (who had turned six the day before the taping began). On the tape, the voices of the three oldest children predominate, in order of age. (The photograph is of all six children, a year later, atop Huayna Picchu, with Macchu Picchu lying far below them.)
