"Mutation" is a collection of sonic experiments and performances that may or may not contain extraterrestrial DNA. The second edition of MICRO MUTEK AE featured an eclectically curated line up of some of the most visionary and original artists in the electronic music and visual/tech world. 

This time the experiment was conducted at MUTEK's Nocturne 1 with quite a curious turnout of scientists( sane and insane ) and non-primate lab assistants ( they did have heels though )

MUTEK is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art.

No ears were harmed during these mixes.

I'm truly honored and thrilled to have been offered a spot in Skyecatcher's "Zodiac Signs" series. These sets have been emotional, deep and engaging, and I aimed to create an experience up to that high standard. This is my interpretation, air sign, cerebral sign, MY sign. A few years of explorations, with the endless language of music, and sound, gave Vallou the possibility to share a free expression of his subconscious to the world. Expect sweet, and emotional, Downtempo and Chilled tunes that manage to touch the listener in a positive way. Although, the tracks contain a bit of melancholia; but hope and heroic melodies are triumphant - giving a bit of fuel for the heart. Vallou is a fresh project, new to Mindspring, and our team was thrilled to find it on a rainy day. A rainbow of deep emotions connected our paths. And, it has led us to this exciting day, when such purifying music sees light, and is shared with the global community. A message from Valérian: Life is a great adventure, full of challenging moments that we must face and accept. We must continually move forward to realize our dreams. This is the result and the message of this album. This work is dedicated to my friend, Chloé, who was always the first to hear these songs and support me. This is my praise for her, may she hear it on the other side.
