I truly enjoy making different genres. I discover new things, I learn and it serves as a creative outlet for when I bounce back to my usual sound/style.

With this particular song I wanted to go for a laidback feeling that blends nostalgia and sort of happiness at the same time. It shares different meanings to me, but what about you?

Minnie's Boys is a musical by Arthur Marx, Robert Fisher, Larry Grossman and Hal Hackady.  It is about the early days of the Marx Brothers and their relationship with their mother Minnie Marx, the driving force behind their ultimate success.

Mum was turning 75 this year and I had wanted to record this song before flying home for her birthday. I had made a temp recording months earlier but then work took over and I never got to do a proper record before leaving.  Whilst not a perfect recording, It bought tears to Mum's eyes and she loved it. In the end, that's all that matters.

Love to all Mums and Moms out there.  Where would we be without you <3
