Kayano Orekoto was the one who killed, not Mikoto. Please understand that they are in the same body, and Mikoto is a system, specifically DID as there are amnesia blocks, thats why Mikoto doesn't remember anything that Orekoto does. Orekoto killed almost the instant he formed, he's not a persecutor, he's a protector. He did it to protect Mikoto, not to harm him in any way.
