WHY DID YOU BECOME A DJ? 
I originally began playing music as a five-year-old. I studied classical piano and musical theory for over 25 years. The technical knowledge and skills I gained have proven to be invaluable, whether it be mixing sets for dance floor crowds, or remixing songs for musical artists.

New York provided me with the inspiration, imagination, and understanding of the dance music scene. My frequent visits to The Sound Factory during the 1990’s introduced me to the amazing talent of Junior Vasquez. I visit New York 6-8 times each year to develop and broaden my knowledge and understanding of dance music, particularly Tribal, Vocal, and Progressive House - with a dash of Latin ‘Cha Cha.’
Music is my passion! It started with my early formal education, and grew each time I frequented the dance scenes in New York and Miami. Since my very first visit to The Sound Factory, I have met and received training from some of the best artists in the business. 

WHEN DID YOU START AS A DJ? 
I wanted to share my passion for music, so I started as a DJ over 20 years ago. I started playing at private events and clubs in New Zealand. This lead to opportunities in Australia, Europe, USA, The Caribbean, and South America. All my opportunities comes via ‘word-of-mouth.’ I don't believe in promoting self-hype. My music and skills speak for themselves. I enjoy what I do because it allows me to creatively express myself, brings happiness to others, and ultimately puts a smile on my face!

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY? 
I play a variety of music ranging from Tribal, Vocal, House, Dance, Hi-NRG, and Progressive. It all depends on the requirements for each specific opportunity. I enjoy the overwhelming energy of a ‘big room’ crowd as much as I do the intimate experience that comes from a smaller venue.

ROCK STAR MOMENT? 
Playing a 26-hour ‘back-to-back’ set at Twilo in New York with one of my musical idols.

MUSICAL INSPIRATION? 
My real inspiration comes from the euphoria of a packed dance floor - that’s the true test of any DJ! I follow artists that evolve with the times and ‘surprise’ me with their skill and imagination. While I have spent time with many established names such as Shep, Frankie, Junior, Ralphi, Abel, Tracy, Paulo, and Peter, I am also enjoying the work of Gustavo Scorpio, Mauro Mozart, and Jose Spinnin’ Cortes. 

WHERE CAN PEOPLE HEAR YOU PLAY? 
I produce Podcasts, play for private parties, and select venues in Australia, Europe, and the US.
