I have been a B52 Tail gunner,  Supervisor of the 15th Air Force Recon Photographic Laboratory, Photographic Laboratory Supervisor USAF Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Photographer Governor of Texas photographer, University of Texas Blanton Museum of Art Photographer. 

For me, the process of capturing an image is very personal, as everyone has a different set of eyes, with perceptions that are influenced by many different factors.  Although technically you need to be on your game in photography, there is no such thing as right and wrong.  Each time you click the shutter you are recording your interpretation of what the object or scene in front of you looks like.  Someone told me once that he liked to take photographs of a place to see what they looked like in a picture!  The images in my web site document my travels in the Southwestern United States, France, Italy and reflect my interest in landscapes, abstractions, flowers, objects, and close-ups.

Last week I began a journey into transferring some of my selected images into fabric, for scarves, bolts of cloth, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
