In this episode of Sunset Lovers, I welcomed George Mihaly, Budapest's master of the balearic vibes and curator of the Quality Music Lovers Society group on Facebook.
George is a music obsessive – collecting and playing records from an early age. His eclectic mixes contain everything from balearic, disco, house, ambient through to jazz & rock. He has been a contributor to the ever-reliable Balearic Social radio show on Purple Radio, played at the Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, was a guest DJ of Balearic Assassins Of Love team in Ibiza and been a contributor to the Network show on Box Frequency, Balearic Ultras, Eclectics.
He hosted his monthly show ’The Sound Of The Quality Music Lovers’ Society ’ on Boxfrequency.fm radio where he played some choice music, accompanied by some fabulous guest DJs. The show has moved to Graffiti Kings radio. It's aired every last Saturday of the month. Together with Andy Pye from Balearic Social he has launched such successful mix series like the Chilled Seasons and Back To Mine.
He played on the Psychedelic Discotech party in Carlton club Manchester, played music at ALFRESCO festival. He regularly plays b2b with John Paynter (A Space Age Freak Out) at The Golden Lion in Todmorden and Love & Death club in Belfast last year.

In this Sunset Lovers episode,  I'm happy to host one real music lover & enthusiast with an exceptional music taste, Lithuanian digger & selector, radio host, dj, party starter, and label owner from Vilnius.
 
He has been involved with different radio shows and podcasts for about 5 years now and his latest brain child is titled Where Were We? The show is running for a third year now and it hosted almost 80 guests who share the same passion for quality balearic/italo/disco/house grooves. Amongst the guests where the likes of Eddie C, Joe Morris, Coyote, Lexx, Das Komplex, Fabrizio Mammarella, Franz Scala, Bottin, Sorcerer, The Beat Broker and many more. 
This summer Where Were We? also turned into a record label and the first release was crafted by midnattssoula's pal and local talent, resident at Opium Club - Lowe Aka User. Release also had a remix package and remixes were made by italo masters Daniel Monaco, Donald Dust, Romain FX and another rising star from Vilnius - Black Feeling.

Tribute To Jose Padilla (Weekly QMLS Show)

Music obssesed since 1976. Buying and collecting albums as a 12 year old. His earliest influences in the late '70s and early '80s were Tangerine Dream, Aphrodite’s Child, The Who, Pink Floyd. George started his DJ career aged 14.His eclectic mixes contain balearic, disco, house, ambient, jazz and rock. He plays what he feels and he loves. His sets nowadays are what most would describe as Balearic/Eclectic but with a healthy dose of electronic throb. Expect chuggers, slipped disco and wonky edits usually between 80-120 bpm depending on the time he plays.
George is a Budapest based curator of the Quality Music Lovers Society group on Facebook. He has been a contributor to the ever reliable Balearic Social radio show on Purple Radio, plays at the Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, was a guest DJ of the Balearic Assassins Of Love team in Ibiza and a contributor to the Network show on Box Frequency, Balearic Ultras, Eclectics.
He hosted his own monthly show ’The Sound Of The Quality Music Lovers’ Society ’ on Boxfrequency  radio where he played  choice music, accompanied by famous guest DJ's. The show has moved to  the London based GraffPUNKS Network radio. It is broadcasted  every last Tuesday of the month. 
George has a weekly radio show on the Budapest based Radocafé 98.0 also. It’s broadcasted every Thursday evening.
Beside his own radio show he provides guest mixes for other radio shows all around the Globe. 
George has been played  at ALFRESCO festival int he UK, at DivadelnÍ Flora festival in Czech Republic, has been  played b2b gigs with John Paynter (A Space Age Freak Out) at The Golden Lion Todmorden and Love & Death club Belfast, he was a guest DJ of the Balearic Assassins Of Love team in San Antonio Ibiza. He regurarly plays with his friend DJ Papa Aron at his winery at PAP Wines on the ’Very Sundays’ events. He started Danube Sunset events at Kabin in Budapest.
