Recently, I downloaded the multitrack of the song Struggle by Laura Reed in order to test the possibilities in mixing through the Dolby Atmos Plug-in.


After finishing the mix I noticed that I had used less eq and compression while it was really fan to place the instruments in the sound field via my headphones. However, here I tried not to experiment much with the height dimension and the movement of sources. I just tried to pay attention to the binaural effect capabilities of the plug-in.

B6: Port of Piraeus (Atmospheres)

Binaural recordings that took place at the port of Piraeus between 14.04 - 24.04.

Equipment used: a pair of OKM II Classic Rock attached to my fleece cap. Windjammers by rycote and a Tascam DR-100 handheld stereo recorder.

Post Processing. All files are processed by Waves S1 Shuffler plugin with light adjustments for a wider diffusion of bass frequencies in the stereo panorama.
