For some reason I keep on improvising tracks of this sort.  I play the same thing in both hands with a bass-like note in each hand's left-most finger, and the melody in the right-most.  Meter is pretty free.  I think I'm a little inspired by Western European organum music from the Middle Ages?  The beginning also reminds me of the melody of a No Doubt song (not really a fan or anything lol)

This is basically the same music as the track entitled "When will your child go into the closet 1", but I wrote it down, and practiced a bit to clean it up.  I played this during a real low point recently.  I'd watched the teenage coming out movie "Love, Simon", and it evoked a strong response in me.

I've been involved with music since I was 5 years old, and it remains an important outlet for me.  Just putting a few mostly improvised recordings up to see if they resonate with anyone : )  Apologies for the roughness.  Also, I kind of have this 'stutter' when I play... 

Raised playing classical piano although I listened to a lot more R&B and pop growing up.  Originally from New England.
