George is a vocalist who over the course of his musical career, performed with numerous Top-40 cover bands whose roots were from the musically rich area of Southeastern Connecticut. George began touring the USA and Canada with the show band New Image during the 1970s.   In 1979, he decided to concentrate on family and a more stable profession in government security, but continued to perform locally on a part time basis. During the decade of the 1980s, George became the vocalist with local groups Urban Renewal, The Generic Band, Slam, and The Slam Band.  Beginning in  December 1990, George took a 20-plus year hiatus from playing in bands, but returned to performing part time from 2011 through 2013 with the CT classic hits band Roadwork.  Although retired from playing in established bands, George occasionally sits in with musicians for a few songs or performs one-night special musical events.
