Welcome to a virtual compilation album called "Motor City Zeroes & Ones" from GEORGE STEREOPHONIC RECORDINGS. It's exclusive to SoundCloud, because let's be honest—nobody buys music anymore, and if you do, well, congratulations on owning a time machine. This album is a collection of AI-generated rock songs from a bunch of virtual artists that are virtually from Detroit between 1968 and 1978. 
The artists here are as real as the virtual French mime named Pierre. Yes, you heard it right—a mime in a rock compilation. That's the level of absurdity we're dealing with here. These virtual acts range from Rock, Funk, Folk, with a dash of Free Jazz for good measure. It's like someone fed an AI all the best bits of Detroit music, hit shuffle, and then threw in an obscure folk singer for kicks.
Opening the album is Ikky Flop with "Only AI & Nuthin' to Do," a virtual confession of boredom in the TikTok age. Following him are other luminaries such as The Irrationals, Tonic's Run Down Band, F-Punk, and The Down—all virtually unknown and probably staying that way. All these virtual artists share a virtual love for the Motor City, and they express it in their virtual lyrics, which could be anything from poetic to nonsensical, depending on the AI's mood.
We're in 2024 and rock is virtually (pun intended) dead, but thanks to artificial intelligence, it's back from the grave, like some digital Frankenstein monster stitched together from the best and worst bits of Detroit's music history. Be warned: this compilation is a paradox wrapped in a riddle, sprinkled with sarcasm, and then deep-fried in a vat of nihilism. If you take it too seriously, you're missing the point. But if you can handle the chaos, grab your virtual headphones, dive in and question everything—including why you're reading these virtual liner notes from a cheap Lester Bangs wannabe obviously created by AI too.
Are you ready to kick out the virtual jams, virtual mofos? It's virtually 1970, and I virtually feel alright! It's a virtual funhouse of sound, but don't forget to leave your sense of reality at the door. Because none of this is real, except for the music, and even that's up for debate. Enjoy the trip. Or don't. It’s all the same in the end. More importantly, don't forget to tip the virtual French mime on your way out.

The idea is to pay respect to some of the musicians that shaped us decades ago. In the 21st century, having a full rock band feels like trying to keep a sinking boat afloat, that’s the reason we settled for the bare-bones dual guitar format instead. The Golden Rat sporadically performs in Tokyo for a handful of like-minded believers who understand that the aim is not to improve on the original songs but to have some fun revisiting them.
