Bad Mojo is totally Inspired by Stewart Cranston – Stew came up with the initial chord structure, it was very simply but just the way it was played really inspired me. When it came to adding my parts, the song pretty much wrote itself. 

I've started using my voice as an instrument now, the harmonies work well and hopefully compliment the music. Another great collaboration – You can reach Stew at blueskystudio@btinternet.com

This is the first track I've put together myself in a while so although a little rough round the edges it was fairly satisfying to do. Nothing much else to say about it really :)

 "I Hear You Knocking" (or "I Hear You Knockin'") is a rhythm and blues song written by Dave Bartholomew. New Orleans rhythm and blues singer Smiley Lewis first recorded the song in 1955. The lyrics tell of the return of a former lover who is rebuffed and Huey "Piano" Smith provided the prominent piano accompaniment in the style associated with Fats Domino.

Here's a cover of Dougie MacLean's beautiful and poignant song Caledonia, which we recorded in 2014 as The Celtic Hackers, to give a name to what was basically an informal collaboration between old friends. Happy days.

This is a cover of the Dire Straits song Romeo and Juliet, recorded back in December 2016. I wanted to re-create the feel of the live version from the On Every Street Tour back in 1993, by which time Dire Straits were a massive 9 piece band. Many thanks to the fantastic George Wood for being my partner in crime on this one.
