Mango & Kazusa - Asphalt Lines (kalsy Remix)

When the world says "Give up"... Hope whispers "Try one more time"...There's a lot of emotion within this track, the chords may sound melancholic, but the upper melodies to me sound uplifting. Altogether in my head, this song symbolises the word "Hope"

Out of the numerous WIPs - this one clicked today and got me in the zone! 
Feels as if i'm sat in some tranquil mountains - without a worry in the world surrounded by cool alpine air - watching water flow by, under a cloudless sky.

Alpine Bliss - [Coming soon]

The funniest things inspire me sometimes - this time while waiting in a queue at Tesco I overheard the couple behind me whispering excitedly about their recent travels to Spain. Their whispers were very soft and affectionate, which drove me to realise how intimate a whisper, or someone’s voice, can actually be - and the feelings or emotions that can truly be expressed to one’s beloved.

So, I chose F minor (an emotional scale - my favourite) to write this song. Using some chunky phat house drums coupled with a deep playful bassline plus immersive chords and an ambience of people actually whispering. Despite trying to capture the right amount of emotion, I can hear slightly more feels than I originally wanted for this song, but I know this is because I’ve recently had to move away for work - leaving an amazing place, and beautiful people, behind.

I'm grateful for 2016, it has been a challenging year, but rewarding. If you're reading this far you are fucking awesome - have a great 2017 and enjoy the free download as a thank you from yours truly ;)

So here is Progressive Soul Pt. 2 - FREE...
This song started out as an idea about 2-3 months ago - and this time around, this track reminds me of taking a long drive along a scenic coast line - windows down, full of life's emotions... looking out into the distance....

Funnily enough, most of the samples are the same from the original Progressive Soul track... 

For "Audio nerds":
Regarding mixing and mastering - I'm happy to have some imperfections within the track - unfortunately art cannot be perfect ...so if its not loud enough - just turn up the volume ;) - this will be clearer than me "pushing" the dynamics of the track and squashing your ears...

Progressive Soul Pt. 2 (Original Mix)

I started this 'idea' in April 2016 - but somehow just opened the project and managed to finish it within a day! Love when things click. 

The track: 
Higher energy than usual, very much melodic content  -was tempted to remove half the sounds but left them in there because i feel they add some depth. Alex H wrote some wonderful chords on this one  - I just had to add my own touch. This one takes me on a ride!
