As part of this project, a 3D model of the Parthenon, the main temple of the Acropolis of Athens was created using SketchUp as it was built almost 2,500 years ago. The model was then imported into ODEON: Room Acoustic Software to conduct acoustic measurements of both the interior and exterior of the temple and to produce Impulse Responses. The audio files of this album are the auralisations of the Impulse Responses obtained as part of the project. All instruments were recorded inside the anechoic chamber of the University of York. The final auralisations are the products of convolution between these anechoic instruments and the Impulse Responses of the building.

On the 27th of February 2019 Adrià Martínes Cassorla, Ben Lee, Bernardas Pikutis and myself, conducted an acoustic survey inside York's Grand Opera House. The impulse responses obtained were then convolved using anechoic opera recordings taken from Università di Bologna. The audio files found in this collection are the auralisations of the five best receiving positions. The source of the voice is placed at the center of the stage, while the source of the orchestra is located on the orchestra pit underneath the stage.

This project was done to familiarise with HRIRs, windowing and convolution. A person is standing on a pedestrian crossing waiting for the traffic light to turn green. While waiting, the person is listening to surrounding sounds as they move around in different directions. The project was created using MATLAB and all sounds were taken from Freesound and edited using Cubase 5.2.

These two radio adverts were created as a group project with Aris Karatzas during the first year of my Bachelors Degree at the University of York. The aim Was to create two 29.5s long adverts to experiment with sound design.

While working as a sound designer, I started compiling a sound library of my own intended for my personal work. I then decided to share this library with other people in the creative industry. I used the Zoom H5 Handy Recorder for Stereo Recordings and the Sonarworks Measurement Microphone for Mono ones. All the sounds were captured at 48kHz, 16-bit and subsequently edited further using Cubase Pro 10.5.
