My brother, Reginald, introduced me to Prince and his music. Early on, in my DJ career, I began a tradition- I would end every party with Prince's "Purple Rain." My Slow set always included "Adore." I just played "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" this past Tuesday during my wife's cheer banquet. I saw Prince only once, live in concert, during Essence Festival on his Musicology Tour. The Mississippi Student Justice Alliance is the voice for our generation, fighting for social justice and strongly advocating for workers’ rights. We envision a workplace where workers are able to have a voice and be respected on the job. This tour, this mix is dedicated to workers from the Nissan Plant in Canton, MS, who would like one thing from their employer: a chance to decide for themselves whether to join a union, free from intimidation.

Workers want to have a voice in the workplace, and a say in their own futures. They should have the opportunity to hear from both sides and make an informed decision about joining a union.
