Toolroom Records began in 2003 when emerging DJ/producer @markknight and brother Stuart Knight started the label. Quickly developing a fan base of professional and aspiring DJs, the label became synonymous with credible House and Tech House. Rising in tandem with the career of label figurehead Mark, Toolroom rapidly grew into an internationally known brand through some defining club records – most notably Mark Knight’s remixes of ‘Man With The Red Face’ and ‘You’ve Got The Love’, among a host of original material from Mark and other heavyweight dance artists.
Toolroom has also diversified beyond a traditional record label model. We have successfully expanded into events, with Toolroom residencies and festival appearances all over the world. Moving towards other media platforms, Toolroom Radio, hosted by Mark Knight, is an overwhelming success with over 16 million listens per week, and Toolroom TV, a unique half-hour programme celebrating dance culture, found a home on Sky TV. 2013 saw us celebrating a decade in the business with ‘Toolroom Ten’ – an album of 100 tracks mixed by Mark Knight, a ten week international tour, and ‘Ten Years Of Dance Music’ – a feature length documentary.

Nachdem unser lieber George Cooper den niederländischen DJ und Musikproduzent aus Utrecht "Lodewijk Fluttert"(besser bekannt unter seinem
Künstlernamen Bakermat) auf seinem eigenen Tomorrowland Floor persönlich treffen konnte, war es dann schon irgendwie klar ihm auch einen S.O.M Tributemix zu widmen. Seine Musik lässt sich dem Genre Deep House und Tropical House zuordnen und zeichnet sich durch Jazz- und Soulelemente aus. In vielen seiner Werke bilden Instrumente wie Panflöte, Trompete und vor allem Saxophon die Begleitung.

wenn kleine Toene Grosse Laune machen - Summer 2k18

Das Echelon Open Air & Indoor Festival steht sinnbildlich für den perfekten Summerrave. Heiße Techno Beats verbunden mit einem einzigartigen Bergpanorama in dem bayerischen Kurort Bad Aibling zeichnen Süddeutschlands größtes Open Air & Indoor Festival aus. Auf insgesamt 5 Bühnen treten hier knapp 60 nationale & internationale Top Acts der elektronischen Musikszene auf. Wie auch die letzten Jahre zuvor kann man bereits einen Tag vor dem eigentlichen Festival anreisen, und die Camping und Warmup Atmosphäre miterleben.

Schon 2017 hatte das Echelon Team ein grandioses Line Up auf die Beine gestellt. Solomun, Oliver Heldens oder auch Adam Beyer zählten hier zu den Headlinern (Wir berichteten).

Auch wenn das Line Up des letzten Jahres schon kaum zu toppen war, hat es das Echelon Open Air für 2018 bereits geschafft.

Echelon setzt auf Headliner der Extraklasse

Wie die letzten Jahre zuvor auch, setzt das Echelon auf namenhafte Headliner. Zu den ersten Headlinern dieses Jahr zählen Carl Cox, Sam Paganini, Monika Kruse und Yellow Claw.

Mit Carl Cox hat das Echelon wohl einen der bekanntesten Techno Djs der Welt gebucht. Der Brite spielt bereits seit über 25 Jahren auf den größten Festivals dieser Welt und jetzt auch zum ersten Mal auf dem Echelon in Bad Aibling. Wir sind jetzt schon gespannt diese lebende Legende live zu sehen!
