Nostalgia for those warm and careless summer nights sets in perfectly in cold holiday season with these selections brought to you by our dear friend Soul Case; the man behind Amok Radio and lovely Oubli collective. Putting his quirky alias in context, Bojan Janev of Skopje, encases his wonderful soul; one that chose music as its creative outlet of expression and influence. As eclectic as they come, as a DJ he always digs deep to find the most suitable records for the occasion. You can find him blasting high energy italo, chuggy disco or even trancey vibes on the floor, as well as somewhere poolside - serving sophisticated downtempo dishes. 

Him and his buddies from abovementioned organisations are doing a great job rejuvenating and enriching the rather dull and stagnant underground scene that Skopje and many other ex-Yu cities are doomed with. When visions of people align, they click easily, regardless of age, geography or any other determining factor; and this happened with us and Bojan and his crew when we invited them to Montenegro this summer. In his own words, this mixtape is directly influenced by his stay at our sandy shores. It sure takes us back!

Sunset Lovers show is continuing to spread sunny and  Balearic vibes with an extraordinary mix from Manu Archeo - a label boss, DJ, photographer, and record collector from Florence, Italy.

Having spent five years studying the classic drums at a young age, Manu’s passion for music soon took over in the early ’90s, and with his expertise and vast musical knowledge of the Balearic scene earned top DJ slots, working as DJ at private parties, festivals and many clubs and bars of Florence and other cities in Italy (Milan, Perugia, Bologna, Rome, Palermo), Europe (London, Paris, Berlin) and worldwide (NYC, Rio). 

His label, Archeo Recordings is a re-issue record label that regenerates old, lost, obscure, and forgotten rare gems of mostly Italian music but also all over the world of the '70s, 80's, and 90's for a wider audience of collectors, DJs, and music lovers. Tony Esposito, Tullio De Piscopo, Blue Gas, Roberto De Simone, and Riccardo Giagni are just some of the mind-blowing names that the label has played host to in recent years.

All releases are licensed, hand-numbered limited edition, and the first copies are usually pressed in coloured vinyl. Audio tracks re-mastered in their original form, and sleeves re-created for today, but all based on the original images.

We're so excited to share this mix from our friend Lauren Murada, direct from New York City via Wollongong and beyond. A little bit about Lauren from CB : "This is a great mix. Lauren has always known exactly the right spot for a good party, and following her lead on where to find that perfect dance floor moment has never let me down before. It made perfect sense when she moved to New York City to chase her music dreams, and it made even more sense when she started running some of the best parties (at the excellent Good Room) that the best city in the world had to offer too. This became apparent when a friend and I visited Good Room for their semi-regular '7th Heaven' party—an all-night b2b between Joey Llanos from the Paradise Garage and Douglas Sherman from The Loft. What was meant to be a short stopover turned into one of the most euphoric all nighters full of balloons, baby powder (for the dance floor) and disco magic that I think was one of the most exceptional parties I've ever been to—40,000 steps on the pedometer can't be wrong!"

Now Lauren and her friend Finn run one of the cities funnest parties, Love Games, and she can be seen (and heard) at any number of NYC's best clubs, on The Lot radio, and if you're lucky, on a specially curated mix series like this one here. For over a decade now we've been following Lauren's lead on what makes for a perfect dance floor. And with this mix, now you can too. Thanks Lauren!

The ones we decided to move here we always get surprised about dj's that one can see at the most filthy and infamous venues, being not strcktly necessary to go to Panorama Bar to see a nice set.

We introduce you this month to EXOTIKA, good friend and great selector. Joan Bernat the guy behind the name, is one of those obsessed diggers that are always in the search of the perfect beat and the warmest vibe. Balearic, downtempo, protohouse and everything in between is the leitmotif of the catalonian dj.

Member of the amazing collective "Ceremony", one of the hottest underground parties in Berlin, along with Nirel Nica, Llupe and Rafa (who already signed an MM Cast last year)
