Voltags arises from the fusion between the Brazilian performer Volatille with the German producer Gats. Synthesized songs, distorted guitars, and a Cyber/Post-Punk aura accompanied by Vola's aggressive, mocking, and sexual voice.

“Chaos Center”, the duo's debut EP, carries a cellular atmosphere of telemarketing, transmedia calls that cross and intersect in a zeitgeist Cold Turkey of the current anti-virtual “pandemusic”.

The album is also an exhibition of photographs by Brazilian visual artist and performer Nube Abe. In the remix duties, Martinelli and Zopelar bring quite different interpretations to increase the quality of the already solid release.

Studio Malo was born in the South of Germany and started digging into music as a twelve-year-old: Punk, Hardcore, Techno, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Disco, Italo Disco, the '80s & the '90s – there is no genre which isn’t worth to be examined and mixed with others. Still crossing musical boundaries, but mainly focusing on any kind of Disco, Studio Malo today lives in Stuttgart and is deeply connected to the local Italo Disco scene. Together with DJ François Fantasy, he is one half of the Discoteca Synthetica DJ duo and party team.

The heathens and the outlaws are back with a bumper EP that gets down low and dirty.

As everyone knows, the best house music is kept simple and that is exactly what NZ and South Africa's Kennedy and Matt Prehn's have done. Le Freak takes a four bar disco sample and turns it inside out. Trippy vocals, wobbly sub and drums that pack a punch make this a go-to for late night basement sessions. 

J. Kara goes deep with analogue pads, delayed stabs, 808 bass and a broken tech beat. Add the soul and it's a track that cuts across genres, equally at home early doors in a warehouse or on a beach as the sun comes up.

Mexico's finest export Picotropico flips an 80s classic (the clue's in the title) into a Balearic monster. Added bass, percussion, synths plus a whole load of dance floor know-how serves up a rework that is super fresh.

Detroit and Japan meet as The Stooges' Mike Watt provide bass to the classic house sound of R-04. Close your eyes and you could be in the Sound Factory Bar as Frankie weaves his magic and drops this bomb.

Finally, the Hardway Brothers rinses The Secret Soul Society into a pitched down chugging masterpiece. It's head music for the dance floor that channels the spirit of the Guv'nor.  Ambient, industrial, techno and krautrock are all thrown into the mix to make something that defies categorisation.

Aguonėlė (Poppy) was a name of a child who lived somewhere in the fields of Lithuania with her grandparents. The fable says Aguonėlė was haunted by a tricky wolf who kidnapped her and carried into the woods. 
We called a few people we love and showed them the sample of the story that later was used to create this EP. All of them agreed to participate in the ways they could. 
This release was created by the artists, who became personal favourites since the time we met. As a channel, party series, podcast, and freshly formed label, we’re glad to gather those who participated, inspired, and helped us in one way or another. 
Inside you’ll find fine breaks and trance, wavy delics and music to dance. From drum n bass to techno, a bit of house and some downtempo. 
Also, as briefly mentioned above, it’s a debut release for our small group of people who think, share and cooperate for the sake of this project being. 
It’s varied but integral. 
Same, same as us.

Romain has been a key innovator in the Hong Kong & Asian music scene for the past 12 years. He has spearheaded multiple fresh concepts. 
Roofest was the island's first rooftop festival. Fauve Radio, the first full-time and award wining radio station. The Pharmacy being the first dance music oriented record store in Hong Kong. On top of all of this, he has been organising monthly parties under the name ROAM and helping build the Shi Fu Miz Festival by bringing international artists such as Kink, Jayda G, Ben UFO, Move D, Habibi Funk, Demuja and many more. 

He is now launching his production career with releases on his own imprint Fauve Records as well as on other labels such as Fantastic Voyage, Mamie’s Records, Ca$hminus, 41,000Hz Social Club & Hard Fist Records. Only in his first 6 months of producing, his music has been played by some of the biggest acts in the game such as DJ Harvey, The Black Madonna, Gerd Janson, Horse Meat Disco, Skatebärd, Lauer, Tornado Wallace, Lipelis, Orpheu The Wizard, Kamma & Masalo to name a few and also in some of the most iconic venues such as Berghain Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Dekmantel, Igloo Festival, Pikes and more. 
His Boiler Room debut during the Shi Fu Miz festival 2019 has really marked the beginning of his full-time DJ/Producer career.

His extensive travelling for tours in places like Asia, Europe and his contact with the music industry players on all fronts, has helped him shape his music to fit most dance-floors, from Disco, to House, to Italo, to Funk, to Soul, to Afrobeat, to Dark Disco and so on... 

Thanks to years of crate digging and a solid 10 years of DJing this fellah knows his classics as well as some of the most obscure digs. All his sets are different, you will definitely be in for a treat.

stormy with a chance of rave

Benjamin Fröhlich's four-track EP "Club Fantasy" was our first release this year - now it gets the full "remixed-by-four" treatment it deserves.

First one up is the currently New York based German DJ and musician Annegret Fiedler aka Perel with her take on "Escape". She adds a bit of a "bite" to the warm, emotional, and cinematic Italo soundscape of Benjamin's original version thus creating an even more hypnotic tune with a cutting edge.

Berlin based DJ and producer Alex Kassian puts his hands on the title track "Club Fantasy" by slightly increasing the tempo and adding some great percussion elements, yet reducing the typical 303 elements a tiny little bit - a total winner on every dancefloor. 

DJ City's remix of the same track is also faster than the original and much more on a stomping ground - he takes no prisoners - it's a straight into-your-face affair with a mighty mighty bass drum.

Last but not least Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht sprinkle their magic dust on "Escape". Their version is even more dreamy than Benjamin's original version. It's sheer beauty and deserves to be played in the early morning hours of every club night - as long as we all get the chance to re-experience those sacred moments again of course … 

Finally we've got all the radio DJs and stations and streaming platforms covered with Perel's "Spotify" edit - say no more - 100% efficacy.

When I was asked to curate these mixes the simple premise is to arrange a soundtrack that would accompany a nice glass of wine as the sun goes down. So when I asked Gareth Goddard aka Cherrystones (aka Godsy to his friends) for a contribution I knew it was going to be something really special and what an epic treat it is. G has always been ahead of the curve musically. So much so, people have created entire record labels around his discoveries and whilst people struggle to keep up he’s always a few steps ahead. Lithuanian duo Kolegos drop their debut release, ‘Discover’, on Spencer Parker’s Work Them Records this July.

Backed with a remix from label-boss Parker, the release sees brothers Genys and Matas Bernotas (Mountak) serve up a modern, arpeggio fuelled Italo infused banger (‘Dunda Ratai’) that oozes funk and a subtle, low-tempo breaks cut (’Tavo Tevas’) that fuses electro with deep house and 90s electronica. Parker, in fine and prolific form of late with releases for Work Them and He.Shey.They still seeing support, takes ‘Dunda Ratai’ arpeggio and runs with it, creating a tightly wound and hypnotic late night cut.
