After a summer break, we are back with more quality music here on the Sunset Lovers show, and we will continue to spread positive sun-bathed vibes and our endless love to all of you.

I'm so delighted to present to you my next guest, a Manchester-based DJ and a soundtrack lover, David Pickering. He has an ear for the more blissed out tracks on the musical spectrum, bringing his truly unique collection of records in this extraordinary sundown session.

He is a host of the One Million Sunsets show on Music for Dreams Radio and Reform Radio and a winner of the Mixcloud Best Ambient/Chillout Radio Show 2016 for One Million Sunsets on Reform Radio.

DJ-ing for over 20 years and hosting his night along with appearances at Blue Dot and Moovin festivals. And as well as regular appearances at Aficionado and Spiritland in the past.

Groove Your Body does exactly that right from the get go with an insane arp style bass line and some firecracker style percussion which drives this puppy into high overload. Big time wobbler for 3am style science.

Dragster picks up the baton for its predecessor and smacks you around the face with a Moroder style gauntlet. Full on mucky mutant disco tackle with a strung out vocal to match. For late night fun & frolics in basements & dark rooms all over the world.

Up next is none other than @studio_malo from Stuttgart! Someone we have been a fan of for quite some time here at Bella Festa and we are absolutely delighted to have him supply a mix for the series! Between the Studio Malo mixes and the work he does alongside Francois Fantasy as DISCOTECA SYNTHETICA, he has consistently been putting out great mixes for quite some time! Hopefully if you haven't heard of him before this mix you look into the other stuff as its all killer and no filler! This mix was entitled "BellaDonna" by Studio Malo.

His music draws together classic elements of Italodisco, spacedisco and cosmic disco of the 80s, electronic sounds with analog synthesizers while exploring components of EBM. He is an ávid collector and selector of eclectic music and known for his high energy and versátile sets.

Adrian goes in medias res with Ron Hardy's "Sensation" in his LAYER! Hits and surprises line up like pearls during the two-hour ride, all in service of Classic dance. For our #35 and prepare for Winter, we are heading up North, to Finland to host 2/4 of the Helsinki based collective Free Shelter (@Freeshelter).
DJ Margerita (@dj-margerita) and Aake Kivalo (@aakekivalo), in charge of the groups youtube channel (among other things),  have dusted off some of their favorite recent findings for an action packed guest mix. With the world slowly opening up, it felt only right to deep dive into more... krhm... party centered selections. 
While properly welcoming them in Paris on the dancefloors, you can still listen to them at home in your comfy socks.

The room was dark, only lit by flickering candles that lined the walls. The place was like a maze with little corners and crevices you could get lost in, it could become impossible to find your way out. There were little rules, but those who came respected one another; they looked out for one another. But ultimately, down here below the surface freedom reined supreme...

Snecker is the coming together of Berghain resident and Barker collaborator nd_baumecker and Random Records boss, musician and singer Snax. After releasing remixes and bootlegs together, the pair embark on their first release 'Mandemic', which is built around the concept of "what it might be like if / when our world’s current situation became eroticised, perhaps even evolving into a queer sex party." Enlisting the help of Khan, the other half of Snax's duo Captain Comatose, the pair lace the pulsing house rhythms and acid lines with sensual vocals, which get reworked on the flip by DJ, songwriter and illustrator Pete Ellison and Fauve Records founder Romain FX.

Duro returns with "Derrumbes Y Escaleras", the first collaboration from Iñigo Vontier & Theus Mago's upcoming album. The single is inspired by the Indian board game "Snakes and Ladders" and the hallucinogenic mushroom "psilocybe caerulescens" popularly known as "Derrumbe". This mushroom is one of the most important species in the country and was formerly used in prehispanic religious ceremonies. The trip comes with remixes by Englishman Chez de Milo and US duo Zillas On Acid.

His opener here is "Derrumbes Y Escaleras". Instantly you feel the effect of deep bass, ancestral flutes and psychedelic melodies coursing through your system, while the inner voices guide you to the deepest part of your being. Chez de Milo follows with a solid, rumbling percussion base, intoxicated flutes and synths laden you to the next existential plane.

The nine-minute Zillas On Acid’s trip uses the bassline to keep you lucid and present, while the flutes, frenetic arpeggios and percussion create an inner chaos. Inspired by the Mexican rave scene of the 2000s, the "Saiko Mix" has a catchy bouncy bass, rolling percussion and acid sounds that feel like melted lasers coming out of the speakers.

Closing the EP is the B-Side "Zumo Di Batuca", an experimental break cut. As it progresses the vocals and synthetic sounds disintegrate and melt into a solid, cyclical sound mix that keeps you in a trance state.

In the middle of the summer Yeho, an Israeli musician coming from Tel Aviv, was wandering around Italy and randomly he found himself in the “Quintino Basement”, lair of Ninja Exotic Machine.
This casual encounter gave birth to three new tracks where the
duo’s downtempo and tribal style merges with Yeho’s crisp and raw vocal together with intriguing percussions samples extracted from live recordings of the percussionist Andrea Greco.
The result is an Ep called “36 questions” out on Pho Bho Records on the 14th of October.
