Back in 2019, while driving somewhere, I heard Free Finga - Ieva track on Opus radio. It came to my mind that I could revision this track and make it more dancefloor friendly. Immediately contancted Free Finga to get stems and aprooval to do a remix and he just gave them to me. 
Didn't liked where I was going with this remix, so it end up at the bottom of my unfinished tracks list. But now, back in 2022 it's finished, it's dancfloor tested and aprooved.

The compilation of tracks made between the beginning of 2019 and mid-2021 are inspired by the landscape of Maresme and conceived by the conjunction of the peacefulness of nature and dancefloor sensations. Kriz LaFraize intuitively steps in between different beats, from downbeat to techno, genres, worlds, cultures to share the momentum and stimulate reflection through irritation. The DJ/ producer has already spun records at various events worldwide. 

She encourages people to cross borders, connect contrasts, forget about the differences and opposites to give the audience the full experience of empowering adventure and discovery.

He is a part of seaside community and night club "Rąžė" that proved its name bringing international talents from all over the world. Our 10th digital release comes courtesy of Budapest's Bal5000.

It's his second EP for the label, the first being the Bleu Infini EP back in 2017(although some stellar tracks of his did appear on the Lost Transmissions compilation which is getting a repress this year and the Invisible Family EP#3).

For those unfamiliar with him, Bal5000 was pretty big on the drum & bass circuit a decade or so ago (known simply as "Bal" back then) but more recently he's been exploring this kind of bass-heavy spaced house and slo-mo acid sound like you'll find here. Kind of reminiscent of I:Cube a little...but you'll find it definitely has its own distinct flavour.

Bal5000's music has been enjoyed and played by ALFOS, Daniele Baldelli, The Beat Broker and more. Here's what's been said about "Neutra" EP:

The White Isle`s Residentes Balearicos come bouncing back with a debut EP, Viajes Orgaizado, for Brighton`s Higher Love Recordings. The super prolific Italian duo of Luca Averna and Ale Doretto, who’ve now made Ibiza their home, have perviously released music, across a range of tempos - from serene sunset shuffles to nocturnal, psychedelic, shamanic shakedowns. Gracing labels such as Shades Of Sound, Music For Dreams, Balearic Ensemble, and Takeo Toyama`s Archipelago (RIP). Noteworthy names such as Joe Morris and Robin Lee`s Rudy’s Midnight Machine have remixed the results, while they frequently collaborate with current king of “chillout”, Melodica`s Chris Coco. This fresh four-track outing finds the friends fashioning two new tunes, each given an additional guest “twist”.

D110 starts with a solid rock drum battery, quickly joined by characteristically bionic “balearicos” bass. Ripe with rave-y synth signals, and filled with flickering frequencies, the track taps directly into their Italo disco roots. Its sleazy, suggestive, stomping novo new beat, countered by breakdowns of cute cascading bells and chimes - raining prettily above the punchy, pumping, pounding. Mancunian musician James Bright, himself a Higher Love veteran - as well as working with imprints such as Sveva, Quattro, and Eclectics - smooths out the still banging, gargantuan groove. Manufacturing melody from masked marimba and energetic, particulate, ping-ponging patterns, while making excellent use of echo to build, and release, tension.

Juno’s Dream is technologically tribal. Its robotic rhythm rising and falling hypnotically, while grounded by more “organic” finger clicks. The warm, womb-like, constantly mutating, bottom-end, an homage to both acid house and bleep. Bali-based Liverpudlian Joey Fiztgerald, aka Gold Suite adds trippy gated sequences, and bonus human hand percussion, in the shape of bongos and congas. Then tops this off with huge rushing waves, swirls, of stirring, emotive, synthetic strings.

We are super happy to welcome Sim Fossil (@simfossil)in our podcast series, especially with him releasing his first EP on the label.
Sim Fossil aka Fedor Velyaminov is a DJ, record collector and producer currently based in Paris.
Born in Moscow in 1990, Fedor has always been fascinated by electronic music and started
producing at the age of 13, firstly inspired by famous house and downtempo artists as King Kooba.

Since then, he released several EPs under the alias Cossway on labels such as hedZup, Hatch
Rec, Whyostro, Inter Records, Deepology and many others.
Now living in Paris, where he works as a graphic designer, he has found inspiration in the rich
cultural heritage of the city leading him to launch his new project as Sim Fossil. With his new
moniker, he’s now focusing on more underground fields, experimenting in genres as newbeat,
downtempo, synthpop or balearic ballads.

Our dear friend Andrea Dama steps in as our next guest for the Proxima Mix Series - and we couldn’t be happier! 

Dama is an Italian DJ and producer based in Berlin. Since 2013, he’s been contributing to the local scene, starting with the now set-aside Oscillator party/label and the Dancing for Mental Health night at Sameheads. A long-time resident DJ of Cocktail d’Amore, he’s recognized for his eclectic selection and creative mixing style — and notoriously long back-to-back sets.

An avid digger with 15 years of experience mixing vinyls, he’s always evolving into new sonic territories and novel ways of combining records. Refusing to be defined by genre, his intent is rather to create a vibe that feels mental and energetic, while intimate and organic, underlined by a leftfield, underground sound.

Perfect way to step into the weekend!
