Guatemalan resident Fabio is known at least by name worldwide within his scene as his tracks regularly feature high up in the respective charts. As someone who refuses to be bound by genre Fabio's eccentric style shines through in all his productions and, most notably, in his live performances where he'll garnish his set with funny vocals and synthesizers whilst really creating a connection with the dance floor.

Part psych, part world, part tribal. The aptly named duo Mushrooms Project have an ease in which they blend a range of unique elements into cohesive and heady pieces of sonic art. Mondo Janga is an EP that avoids formula entirely, and can be club or home centrepieces. In our ears, their signature sound blends playful percussion, and a strong contingent of sample and synth exploration. That sound is showcased perfectly in these 3 tracks.

Carefully selected artists were enlisted to re-interpret the original visions. With 3 remixes of the title track Multi Culti’s Thomas Von Party took Janga to the late hours, with his deep and driving remix. While Twerking Class Heroes put their broken beat bliss stamp on the same and finally a tasteful and elegant organic interpretation by Italy’s rising Migra. Finally, Da Iguana slinks his way to another quirky and exciting remix of Mondo that will have you jumpin’.

Forward-thinking and adventurous, Jakarta born and raised DJ & Producer @pastfutura is easily recognized by his uninhibited approach to dance music. Navigating between multiple genres, his productions could be defined as haunted and euphoric, an intricate mix of deep basses, hard-driven grooves and intense melodies. All his influences merge into this EP, creating a unique sound that could only be labeled as Jungle Body Music !
