This bassword episode is contributed by Klix’s well-placed atmospheric sounds polished by deep and almost trancy elements. Yet staying true to his original taste in house music, he delivers once more a smooth mix full of hip shaking grooves. His self-produced, yet unreleased tracks, fit perfectly to the spacy vinyl vibes.

As part of the @breidenbachstudio, KliX is an integral part of the electronic scene in Heidelberg while at the moment he is to be found in Berlin.

Bassword #6 - KliX

Bringing you our sixth instalment of the Disco Suicide Mix Series is
Yotam Russo aka Lott (@yotam-russo)!

He grew up in Tel Aviv’s cultivating scene of electronic music, he got his first drum machine at about the same age he was allowed into clubs. An ongoing love for sound sculpting and rhythm, love and equality, is what drew his whole-self into electronic music and night clubs.

Today based in Berlin, you can find him play his live show when Incorporating authentic elements from the live music world with synthesized sounds.

His productions can be seen as a psychedelic trip imprinted on structured drum machine rhythm, all mixed with a natural tendency to electric guitar sounds, vocals and a handful usage of warm temperature spices and percussion.

Inhaling influence from industrial club music, rave sounds and synthesizer new wave it all contrasted with an authentic soundscape to be found in the urban environment of the middle east and Europe altogether.

Eclecticism and uncompromising passion for unconventional sounds that he fuses with ability and technique, is probably what best defines Javi as a Dj, something he's been doing for more than two decades, playing at some of the finest clubs in Europe like Fabric (London), Rex (París) or Panorama Bar (Berlin) and as resident Dj behind the venues Sport, Mondo Disko, Ballesta Club and more recently Daycap (Madrid).

As a producer, he's been releasing music since 2012 and has done it on labels such as Dischi Autunno, Motordiscs, Rotten City, Meant, My Favorite Robot, Astrolab, and Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant, which is the imprint he calls home and where he's released most of his productions.

A pleasure to have him in our series with this very personal and low bpm mix. Enjoy!

Lagoon’s first EP collects four music postcards from the oceanic land of Fuerteventura.
The natural elements shape the music and the visions carried by the voice. Field recordings captured on the island’s journeys and acoustic jams constitute the backbone of the electronic tracks. Memories of waves, wind and volcanoes come back to inspire the lyrics.
Hallucinations from the sun’s heat, contemplations from the coast’s outlines, rituals from the desert’s shades.
