It's a Christian assurance that our destiny is in the hands of GOD. So, regardless of whatever we may be facing along this journey but we have that assurance that our hope is not lost.

I started music right in my community. My mother used to sing political songs for the first president of Malawi, in the 70s- 80s. She was one of the great singers in that area and travelling to sing where the president then, went to hold political rallies. She was a Muslim and a daughter of the traditional head of our village but also, a grand child of a number of great traditional leaders in my area and district. Dramatically, this is the area where Dr David Livingstone described as having visited(on his last journey and coming from Mozambique), the area where the mountains come close to the lake- Lake Malawi or Lake of Stars. He held a sermon there and the first headman he found was my great grand father- a Muslim too. He sung a hymn with the attendants, including my great grand father- THY KINGDOM COME. But my great grand father did not convert to Christianity but I got saved, a great grandson of the fourth generation. So I was born and grew up from that traditional, religious and political background. So my mother was a great singer but, being born from the family of a traditional head with a Muslim background (though a Christian through my father who was catholic)and growing up in the Church of England, who's missionaries -UMCA- brought a Church, School and a Hospital in my area; many of the traditional activities, with a great deal of traditional music, were taking place right at our place-home. So naturally and traditionally but also spiritually because I was also singing in the Church youth group, I THEN GOT INFLUENCED WITH MUSIC FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES. 
Later before I left the Church of England, to start a full- time ministry, I was a choir master. But at an early stage of my musical journey and before I became a choir master in the Church of England, I used to follow carefully and managed to sing the songs of great EAST AFRICAN ARTISTS LIKE TABLEY and others. I could sing well and beautifully their songs by listening to their numbers on our beautiful -red- supersonic- family radio. That was in the seventies. Later on, in the late 90s, I recorded my first album with my first band, the Zion Ambassadors doing Gospel Reggae and a few traditional songs. After that album, I went to record my second album in South Africa the studio that records Platform 1 and Vusi Shange and other artists. During that time, I had two opportunities with Galo records of Lucky Dube and Mc Villa Music company but I thought to come first to launch the same album in Malawi first and go back to South Africa to work on those deals. 
When I came back to Malawi, all the efforts to go back to South Africa became impossible and I became one of the important figures in the Musicians Association of Malawi and became the vice chairman of the southern chapter of that organisation. I was still not able to go back to South Africa. It was within that period that I MET THE LORD AND LATER BEGUN A FULL -TIME MINISTRY.
I then adopted my Christian name Enock as my artistic name. 
Thus how I have travelled through my musical journey. I have left out other beautiful things for the sake of time BUT IT HAS BEEN A LONG AND INTERESTING JOURNEY LIKE A TRAVEL OVER THE WATERS OF THE LAKE OF STARS(LAKE MALAWI) OVER SLIGHTLY STORMY WAVES BUT THERE IS A GREAT SCHOOL OF TLAPIA BENEATH THOSE SHAKEN WATERS.
