Soon the creeping sensation returned as it dawned on him that whoever, or whatever, had been watching him above ground was in the dark with him here. He began to run again...

Four Card Trick

The Tingler

Finally the storm abated and Georges was bathed in the warm glow of dusk. He had better get moving. Passing the smoking remains of his car he turned towards the low sun and began his long descent.

Strike A Light

After a scorching day the moon hung motionless, half melted on one side. Georges stood by the road out of town overlooking the city and its tiny pinpricks of light. The distant sound of car horns rose in the sultry air, otherwise silence lay around him as a thick blanket, smothering the night...

Lady 8

A screaming howl jolted Georges awake. The rhythm of the rails thundered beneath him as the train raged ever onwards...
