Some insects just don't care. I left out my Sennheiser rig to capture elephants feeding at a mango grove and this moth decided my blimp was the best place to hang out and make low frequency humming sounds.

Dusk falls in Mohoba forest as a distant thunderstorm rumbles. The insect chorus is deafening. Turacos, hornbills, parrots and other birds prepare for the night.

Dusk In The Forest

Elephants are quite vocal when they gather at the mango grove to feed at night. This time they were joined by a newborn who seemed quite lost but fortunately was helped along by its mother and sisters.
