Dan Freedman, also known as Kook Ellington, is a composer and producer based in Los Angeles. Dan studied music in Virginia, beginning with drums, piano and guitar under Darrell Rose, Beth McDowell, Sam Wilson and Rick LaRue. At Cornell, Dan began composing and producing digital music with  with Keven Ernste. 

In 2009, Dan formed the production duo Masterbeaterz with college friend Drew Melmed. Masterbeaterz’s singles were featured on Good Music All Day and Dirty Mexican Lemonade.  

Today, Dan focuses on developing melodic Hip Hop tracks and working with artists who bring a unique voice to the studio. His mission is to create songs that evoke a strong emotional response from listeners, describe the human condition, and rattle the windows of your ’08 Honda Civic.

Welcome to Optimal Reach Collective Artists (ORCA)! This is a musical and visual arts project involving 41 virtual artists given life through Artificial Intelligence. My music can be found on Instagram under Orcasongs and on Youtube as Optimal Reach Collective Artists.

All lyrics are original and I am the sole writer on all songs posted. The instrumentals, vocals, music videos, and album art are generated in collaboration with multiple A.I softwares. Welcome to Peithonyxx * I live in Auckland, New Zealand. 
I write all my own lyrics and I create my own beats, interludes, and mixes  🎶 I edit trim merge and fluff it a few times, ok some times a hundred drafts wash through, until the soundscape falls in to it's rightful place. 

     I started writing poetry when I was five, and writing all throughout my life truly became a trusted anchor.
I have experienced paths that haven't always been smooth; the gravel shaped who I am. 
I appreciate the hard times. I still hide occasionally. Human too. heh
I started my musical journey early 2024 ~ learning as I go ...

I'm generating the soundtrack for my own life, Yes, I'm using AI to translate my lyrics into music but I see it as just an exciting and new instrument to add to the repertoire. Ultimately, I'd rather listen to something real annd personal than the artificial songs pushed by the 'real' mainstream media. At least these songs connect to me. I hope they connect to you, too, and if they do then it really doesn't matter how they get generated, does it?

While these are a personal passion project, I am trying to capture things that I believe resonate with other people's experiences. Music is communication, after all.

I create music as a hobby and as a therapy and provide workshops for others to do that too, using AI to help produce tracks. I also create empowerment systems to help people at scale increase their confidence and resilience by engaging their adaptive nature and work towards living a purposeful life. While all my song lyrics are written by me, and some tracks come from my personal compositions including instrumentals that I add lyrics to, I use AI to merge these with songs I share with you here. It really makes you realise how important your own words are in a song.
